My husband and I wanted a waterfront spot to celebrate out anniversary. This place was the perfect spot! A beautiful view of the sunrise in the morning, quiet spot to sit drinking coffee while listening to the wildlife. Kayaks were available if we wanted to use them. And breakfast was absolutely delicious!!! The owner was extremely friendly! Would definitely go back again!!!!!!

Property's Favorite Review
I stayed in the Arrowsic Room which had a beautiful view of the cove. The room itself was spacious and lovely. Bob is welcoming and gracious and a fabulous cook. Breakfasts were great. The inn was quiet and calming. There are beautiful places to walk to along the ocean that are easy to get to from the inn. It's also a good central spot if you are looking to explore Bath and Boothbay as well.

We discovered the Coveside B&B as a perfect escape to relax and were delighted to spend a few days there. Bob, our friendly and gracious host, made us feel welcome instantly. We stayed in the Sheepscot Suite which is located in a lovely cottage building across the way from the Main House. The suite is large, charming and has a comfy king-sized bed, a cozy sitting area, a large bathroom with a terrific shower and the most wonderful private deck that overlooks the cove. The cottage also has a screened porch with rocking chairs on the ground level and a common room that includes a TV, tables, chairs, board games, a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and plates, bowls glassware and utensils available for use. We were looking for peace and quiet which was exactly what we enjoyed. Our mornings brought delicious two-course breakfasts prepared by Bob (who is an excellent cook). Our favorite meal was an egg omelet with caramelized onions and goat cheese, but every breakfast was terrific and filling! Coveside’s location is very close to Reid State Park which has sandy beaches and sand dunes to explore. The delightful town of Bath with its shops and restaurants is just a 20-mnute drive away. This was our first visit to Coveside, but we will definitely be visiting again. Thanks, Bob, for pampering us!

I visited Coveside with the hopes of hiking, biking, writing and resting. I couldn't have chosen a better place! There are several hiking trails within biking distance of Coveside. There were many quiet places to write, at Coveside and along the trails. And rest was easy to come by in a comfortable, quiet room, knowing that a delicious and nourishing breakfast would await the next day. I can't wait to return!
