Love the Old Saco Inn! It is our "go to" getaway place to celebrate any occasion or just go for dinner. The menu is varied, and the food is always excellent. When we stay the night, it allows us to relax and imbibe in Bruce's famous Old Fashioneds! The barn is most impressive. Homemade breakfast by Jon in the morning before we head home is a nice way to end a great time.

Stayed here one night to get an early start on the Baldface circle trail. This was my first stay anywhere since Covid but lucky for me, I was the only guest! My room had not had a guest in a few days so I felt comfortable. I chose the Lexington room which is really cool since it's a converted horse stall/barn. I loved the wooden doors and have to admit I also really liked the coach recliners as it was very comfortable and I got a lot of work done. Internet was blazing fast and TV had lots of stations. Pillows were great too - nice and soft/fluffy down pillows. Bruce and Jon took care of me with a great breakfast. All in all, beautiful place, beautiful grounds and just what I needed. My only minor critique is that the entrance could use some lights that lead you to their place as I came in at dark and no one was here at all so I was nervous as a solo female traveler but I called Bruce and he was on his way back. Thanks!!

A very cozy ski/snowmobile/hunting/fishing lodge. Friendly owners. Very good food. Scenic views of the mountains. Picturesque grounds. Gorgeous newly built rustic barn, probably a great venue for a wedding.

It is difficult to say what was our favorite part of staying at the Old Saco Inn. Our room, Lexington, was so comfortable and unique ( 2 renovated horse stalls and a sitting room)...highly recommend! Breakfast was cooked to order, delicious and a great opportunity to visit with the innkeepers. We ate in the barn restaurant 2 nights, a beautiful venue as well as excellent food. The setting is peaceful, alongside a river with a view to the mountains. We were only 40 minutes from our home but it was so nice to hike everyday and come “home” to the Old Saco Inn. Bruce and Jon are the perfect hosts, always welcoming. Also thank you for being dog friendly!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Old Saco Inn. The owners were very accommodating- they allowed us to check in a little early so we could make it to the wedding we were attending. We loved our room - skylights and a huge tub! The breakfast was DELICIOUS - made to order omelets, bacon, scones, of course coffee. The property is beautiful- very woodsy and natural landscape. We will be back!
