Looking for a place to stay just for the night and found this inn. The scenery is beautiful and the owners were incredibly nice. Happy to say that Pete had an excellent whiskey selection. We sat on the porch, drank whiskey, and played cards. Our room was also excellent. The Old Saco Inn is like an updated version of cozy... More

This was the first time my family visited a rural city like Old Saco, Fryburg, Maine and I was warred a little at the beginning, but Pete with Strong American Accent and Sandi with British Accent were so kind and friendly that after talking to them, I felt like I am home. Two week's vacation to New England Region, Bethel,... More

We highly recommend The Old Saco Inn. The place is beautiful and very well kept. Pete and Sandi were lovely and very helpful with our dietary restrictions. Rowing in the Old Saco River with the boats provided was amazing. Our room was spacious and clean.

The Inn, rooms, and grounds are beautiful and impeccably kept. Our room, Emma, was lovely-it was quite large with a big bathroom and sitting area-it also had a great deck with table and chairs where we enjoyed morning coffee and reading in the afternoon. Breakfast each morning was beyond delicious and filling as was dinner on our last evening-simply amazing.... More

Spent 4 nights with Sandi and Pete. Great hosts, beautiful location, on the river, canoes and kayaks available, driving range. Breakfast was delicious every morning. Fresh local eggs --yummy. Ate supper there on Friday night --another great meal. Just saying, make dinner reservations when you book. We missed one night and regretted it. The location is close to many locations... More

We had a wonderful time at the Old Saco Inn. Our room was lovely and spacious, the grounds beautiful, and it was a totally relaxing experience. Kayaks and canoes available on the gentle river, a driving range for golfers. The breakfasts were delicious and bountiful.

Such an amazing place....so serene and classy. Room was spacious and so was the property. 65 acres, canoes, and a driving range! Hosts were very gracious and friendly. Breakfast was lovely. Would highly recommend!

This inn and the innkeepers are delightful. The food was perfect, fresh and sustaining for a day of outdoor activities. The almost magical canoe trip at sunset was one of the highlights of our trip. The room was beautiful, the linens were top quality. We took a walk down the drive and saw wildlife, ate apples and plums and foraged... More

We had a wonderful time as did our friends. It was their first stay and they love your place too! Great to see the beautiful grounds of the Inn outside of the winter season. We look forward to visiting again as soon the snow falls to enjoy your snowmobile trails. A picture of one of your beautiful gardens is attached.... More

We spent two nights in late July in Heather's Loft, a spacious room with a large bathroom. From our deck we enjoyed watching the sunset over the mountains and, later at night, the Milky Way. Outside lights are shut off at 11 PM except for small downward facing lights mounted over outside doors and stairways which are motion activated and... More
