Look no further if seeking a B&B in Freeport, Maine. A welcoming home filled with love, warmth, cleanliness, and safety upon arrival to departure. The innkeepers, Dave and Kelleigh, will remarkably win your heart from their warm welcome, victorian accommodations, recommendations on area attractions, and yes, it is true, a savory 3 course breakfast in which you taste the love in each bite. Stayed for 3 nights and highly recommend! Dave and Kelleigh, wishing you immeasurable blessings and continued success. Until we meet again, Elaine.
My wife and I stayed at the Brewster House recently for two nights and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The home is beautiful and our room was very comfortable and very clean. We have stayed at many B&B’s over the years and some you immediately feel welcome, others not so much. The minute we walked in the door at the Brewster House, we felt welcomed and this was even before meeting Dave and Kelleigh - this is special! Breakfast was fine dining indeed with Dave preparing excellent breakfast dishes & Kelleigh serving great French press coffee and Tea and fresh squeezed juice! The home is very close to all of the shopping but far enough away to get some peace and quiet! We are always so happy when we discover a place that we will add to our “must return” list like we have for the Brewster House!!…
The inn is just past the exit from 295. Very close to shops and restaurants. The honor draft feature is a really nice touch. Very nice rooms, and the breakfast was multi course and delicious. Keleigh And Dave are very nice and accommodating hosts. Highly recommend.
What a wonderfully warm, homey and thoroughly gracious destination to get away to, especially during the pandemic. Every morning our hosts, Kelleigh and David, served up a delicious three-course, gourmet breakfast, including everything from strawberry cheesecake French toast to freshly baked blueberry muffins to French pressed coffee and offered delightful conversation as well. Our room, Portland Head, spaciously provided two rooms conveniently joined by a bathroom in a century old Victorian house that had beautifully restored interior detailing. You’re only a comfortable walk to the center of town and the Tuscan Kitchen, where, at our hosts suggestion, we had dinner, then shopped at the LL Bean complex of stores and returned to eat our ice cream, sitting in Adirondack chairs on the Brewster’s grand porch, while enjoying a crisp, moonlit, Fall evening. And when, after a couple of days, it came time to leave this haven, Kelleigh encouraged me to take the novel I was 100 pages into, after having picked it up from the used books invitingly placed on tables or shelves throughout the house. At the Brewster House, Freeport and Maine in general, we always felt secure with easy social distancing and everyone protecting against Covid-19, and will certainly return there in the future.…
Kelleigh and Dave were so welcoming attentive and excellent hosts. We felt truly spoiled. The attention to detail the rooms and throughout the whole B&B. The breakfast they served was a big surprise and was cooked each morning to a high standard and I would say second to none! They had leaflets in the hall and were happy to offer suggestions and to advise on the best spots for dining, shopping, hiking and all sorts of general tourist tidbits that we would need during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble to them and they made you feel like friends This is one B&B I will definitely go back to should I get to Freeport Maine again and one you should not miss if you are in that area too! Thank you so much Kelleigh and Dave for making our short trip so memorable two thumbs up 5 star kind of place. Most definitely Recommended…
