I spent two nights at the Harraaseeket Inn with an old college friend. It's a very pretty Inn located within walking distance of the shops in Freeport, and conveniently right off the highway. In general the room was well-appointed and very clean, with classic New England furnishings and local linens that were very nice. However, I will quibble over little...

Thank you for your review. We're very sorry about the window screens in your room. They should not have had any holes in them, and that situation will be remedied immediately. We appreciate your bringing this to our attention. Your experience in the Maine Harvest should have been perfect and we apologize that it wasn't. Our wait staff is trained...

I normally don't write reviews, however this is one that I believe will help the Inn as well as visitors. Upon arrival (5:45 PM) for dinner there was nobody to seat us. A young gentleman that was apparently an employee at the Inn saw us waiting and indicated that there would be someone available in 10-15 minutes (apparently they don't...

Thank you for posting the review of your dining experience in the Maine Harvest. You're correct in assuming these critiques are helpful. Indeed, the only way we can know what's happening on the floor, and know where and how to improve our service, is by your feedback. Your comments were the subject of a special meeting with our dining room...

Thank you for your review! We're honored that you chose to have your family reunion here at the inn and appreciate your comments regarding the menu in our Maine Harvest restaurant. Executive Chef Troy Mains is currently creating the menu on a weekly basis and pays very close attention to guest feedback. His goal is to create a dining experience...

The Inn could not provide me 3 nights in the same room, so the 3rd night was 150.00 more, I asked for manager to see f they could assist in some sort of a reasonable discount as I would be spending over $2,000 there for 3 days. I know because I did it in 2014, no response to my request...

We're so sorry we couldn't give you the same room for all three nights of your stay, but when you made your reservation, the hotel was fully booked on the third night you requested. Our townhouses are large three bedroom units with full kitchens and are more expensive than the rooms in the inn, but that was all we had...

Thank you for your review! We have several spacious townhouses as well as rooms in our Carriage House that are pet friendly, and many four legged guests whom we've come to know by name over the years. Last Thanksgiving week (11/2015), I had learned of the Inn and took my adult daughter there for a mini-vacation. Our suite was wonderful, with a fireplace and unlimited wood. It had all the charm of an English countryside estate. The staff was conscientious, very pleasant and even endearing. The dinner was wonderful, but the Sunday brunch (although not as elaborate)...

This Inn is best described as "charming". Friendly employees, clean rooms that were decorated in a combination of antiques and reproductions that lent themselves to a slightly outdated charm. The breakfast included with the room was wonderful and delicious. The best thing about this Inn is the location. Walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants on the main...

We just had a wonderful culinary experience at the Maine Harvest Dining Room. Often understood as the "formal" dining part of the Harraseeket Inn, Jeff hosted our cozy corner table with engaging, casual and comfortable personality, which to our delight better describes the ambiance. Still, the presentation of the food was a classic work of art, fresh, flavorful and savory;...
