200year old stone cottage privately tucked away,easy access Junction26 M5. Lovely gardens and apple orchard with views across fields to the lofty church.Robert and Lesley Orr successful restaurateurs have created a warm informal and relaxed atmosphere. Rooms are simply furnished with antique pine furniture ,fresh flowers .The smell of homemade bread wafts through the cottage,Lesley runs cookery demonstrations and will gladly prepare you a good supper by prior arrangement.Ideally situated for an overnight stop on the way to Cornwall,or as a base from which to explore Devon and Somerset,whether visiting gardens,National Trust Properties,walks or drives to the coasts and moors.

This is the second time we have visited Causeway Cottage. Lesley and Robert are always very welcoming. Lesley's cooking is amazing and evening meals should be taken whenever possible. Very comfortable accommodation.

My husband and l have just returned from a weekend at Causeway Cottage and couldn’t have chosen a nicer place! The location is quiet, beautiful and secluded, but also only 5 minutes from the M5, so perfect if you’re looking for overnight accommodation to break your journey.
