This place feels like home! It’s charming, quiet and the breakfast is superb. Lisa & Ted are the most kind and welcoming hosts you can find. Even during covid, they manage to give the most remarkable experience. Thank you for everything!

Property's Favorite Review
We had planned to visit in May, but because of Covid postponed until June. Ted and Lisa were extremely prepared for visitors during this unusual time. They followed all the requirements to keep everyone safe. The room, as usual, was inviting. The breakfast each day was delicious. We were served on our patio promptly as requested. Stayed an extra day as we were so comfortable and welcome. Looking forward to another visit next year.

It was disappointing to us, that we had to postpone your celebration to June. But It was wonderful to see you both; happy, healthy and your husband's wonderful sense of humor still in tact! So glad that even with all of the changes for the current environment that you still felt comfortable and welcome! We look forward to next year's celebration. Take care.

We stayed at the Hawthorn Inn in November 2020 during the fall pandemic upswing. We were impressed with the steps Ted and Lisa took to ensure our safety in that difficult travel time. Even in that environment, they provided a comfortable, enjoyable getaway. As a veteran, I would like to offer special thanks for participating in the "B&B for Vets" program in a year when many other facilities are choosing not to.

Participating in the B&B for vets program is our small thank you for the sacrifices military personnel, veterans and their families make/made for our country. For other veterans, we encourage to you to learn more about the "B&B for Vets" program for yourself. Thank you again for service! We are honored that you chose to stay at the Hawthorn Inn and are so glad that you enjoyed your stay.

Our autumn overnight at the Hawthorn Inn was a lovely experience. Lisa & Ted are the ultimate hosts and made sure that every detail was tended to. The room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable, and the deck was a great bonus; we took advantage of the nice weather and enjoyed breakfast outside overlooking the harbor, with colorful fall leaves drifting lazily down from the trees around us. And the food was terrific! When we extended plaudits to the chef, Lisa said that Ted insists that he's "just a cook, not a chef." We beg to differ!

Thank you so much for your review. It made Ted blush and certainly made his week. You did have an amazingly lovely day in November to enjoy breakfast outside. The leaves seemed to hold on quite long this year. It was a pretty site to see the leaves drift down from the trees. We look forward to hearing your music in the future and hope to see you again soon!

We had an absolute wonderful experience with our recent stay at the Hawthorne Inn. The room was spacious, had a nice deck, clean and comfortable.. The owners were very gracious and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic. The measures they took made us feel completely COVID safe. Without a doubt, we would stay here again.
