The Inn keepers go above and beyond to think of how to make your stay extremely comfortable and pleasurable. The inn is immaculate and quaint. The breakfasts are fresh and healthy, beautiful to look at and delicious. There are fresh flowers form a local farm on the tables. You can tell the Inns keepers Lisa and Ted take a lot... More

First, you have to start with Lisa and Ted. They are two of the nicest people. It is such a great feeling to walk into the inn and instantly know it is going to be a comfortable stay. Our room was very comfortable with a very nice view. The two course breakfast every morning was also amazing. Again, you get... More

We stayed here on June 20, 21. I picked the Inn because of its proximity to the town center - it is close, but not too close, and therefore quiet. The innkeepers, Lisa and Ted, were so friendly and helpful with the questions we had. The breakfasts were yummy and filling too. We stayed in the Cabriolet room which is... More

Wow what a wonderful experience! The Hawthorn Inn has flowers and gardens that are well maintained and beautiful. We were there in May so everything was just greening up and spring was in full force. Our room was in the Carriage house and overlooked the back yard with the bay peeping through the trees. Walking distance to town made this... More

I'm not a "must stay in a B&B person", but I absolutely loved everything about our stay in this wonderful inn. It is elegant, very comfortable and modern all at the same time. Our room was high-ceilinged with a yummy-comfortable bed and a thoroughly modern and updated bathroom. The public areas are beautiful with comfortable furniture and always a delicious... More

I loved the Hawthorn Inn. Normally I avoid B&Bs like the plague. I don't like communal dining, inn keepers who are in your face, and the lack of privacy that B&Bs,especially in America, normally evoke. The Hawthorne Inn was probably one of the best B&Bs I have ever encountered. Yes, there is communal dining at breakfast. There are a few... More

This beautiful Victorian Mansion is pristine and elegant in every way. From the charming bedrooms to the gorgeous grounds, and the incredible two course breakfasts with fine china, you couldn't find a more delightful get-away. Ted & Lisa the owner/innkeepers were so friendly and helpful, providing us with maps of the area and suggestions for dinner. The Inn is a... More

My wife and I recently stayed with our 1 and 3 year old in the Norfolk Room. The room was amazing, and could comfortably hold 3-4 adults. The backyard has a gate that leads you directly into the back of the public library, which was my 3 year old's "secret passage way" to the library. The B&B is located very... More

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. We love having families with children stay with us! Back yards are for children to enjoy, especially ones with a "secret passage." We hope if your travels bring you back to Camden that we get to see you again. More

We are so pleased to have found the Hawthorn Inn. Not only is it beautiful, extremely cared for, but the owners and staff are wonderful. Spent two days/nights and did not want to leave. The breakfasts are extremely good. Thank you Lisa and Ted (and Deb). We look forward to seeing you again.

I have an egg allergy so notified Lisa before our visit, and they were wonderfully accommodating with delicious breakfasts and snacks (they even printed off recipes for us to take home!). Our room was lovely, the huge jacuzzi tub was very relaxing after a day wandering about Camden. The location of the inn can't be beaten" we particularly enjoyed being able... More
