My wife and I stayed here for two nights. We were upgraded to a suite which was much more like an apartment. It had a small sitting area, an office, a full kitchen and a bedroom with king bed, and a bath. As we arrived were greeted and shown the way around the block to the hideaway. We were given... More

Not only is the location ideal, everything about this Inn is worth bragging about. The owner, who is a published and accomplished chef, impresses with his unique cuisine. Don't miss out on this opportunity!

We have stayed here several times, and have no idea what jaywalsh2016 is talking about - he must not have been at the same place! Our experiences have all been very good here. You do have to pay attention to the location of your room, as some are a short walk away - if you want to be in the... More

The hotel is located in elm st. Camden main. It is really a great hotel, the rooms looks amazing and beautiful, the staff is very kind and helpful, the breakfast is gourmet. There are enough parking for everyone. During my staying i had a problem of no service, the manager gave me her private cellphone to connect the cell store... More

The Hartstone Inn consists of 3 properties so know that unless you booked a room in the Inn, you will be walking to the Inn for breakfasts, cocktails, questions. We were in the Hideaway, one block away. The room was spacious, comfy bed, TV, A/C but up a steep narrow stairwell. You will not be able to get a large... More

I had the misfortune of staying at this inn recently and I think that this is the worst inn in New England, and for the money they charge they shoul be ashamed. I didn't get any sleep for 2 nights, the bed was so uncomfortable and lumpy the sheets looked like they Hadn't been washed in a month and there... More

The Hartstone has a lot going for it - nice location, ambitious restaurant, spacious quarters for those who seek them. A 3-night stay, our second in four years, turned out to be too long. Innkeeper and staff were helpful, except for the rainy night they refused to feed us. (OK, we hadn't reserved. However, the night before, we DID reserve,... More

Couple recently stayed unfortunately only a night for our 4th visit. Room was well-appointed and bed is great. Hosts are friendly and enthusiastic, and staff is also. The meals are terrific, gourmet with a 5 star rating. We have been 5 times to eat, and have never been disappointed. Souffle desert is a delight. Breakfast is as memorable. Easy walk... More

This is the third year in a row that we have stayed at the Hartstone Inn. Every April we take my mom up to Camden and it has become a tradition. We stayed in the "annex" building which is just behind the main house. There are two suites that we booked last year and which worked out perfectly, so we... More
