Thank you for the thoughtful review. We are so happy you appreciated the care we too with our decorating...we strive to make it feel as if you're in a friend's home and not a hotel. Also, Gary takes great pride in his breakfasts and we appreciate your thumbs up! We hope to see you in the future, and as always, safe travels!

James and Gary were the best host we have ever stayed with. They are so very helpful and kind. I have a food allergy and thought we would just skip out on breakfast but they went out of their way to make sure I could eat. They gave us great advice on places to eat and things to do and see. The house if very inviting, comfortable and clean. The house is close enough to walk to the harbor and great restaurants. It also has a great seating area to enjoy the beautiful Maine weather!

Gary and I are blushing with pride! We are so happy you enjoyed your stay with us! Owning and operating a B&B is a lot of hard work, but guests such as yourselves make it all worthwhile. We hope that your future travels bring you back to Camden and that we will have the pleasure of having you in our home again!

Elizabeth, What a kind and thoughtful review! We are happy you found our location so convenient. It is nice to be able to just park your car at the inn and forget about it. Gary does take a lot of pride in his breakfasts and his cookies. We encourage everyone to take advantage of the guest pantry and our free amenities and to pick our brains for things to see and do. It was such a pleasure having you both with us and we look forward to seeing you again in the future!

My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous stay at The Elms of Camden in October 2019. The Iris Room, perfectly clean, freshly painted and updated, offers a spacious sitting area, a twin bed that also serves as a sofa, a king-size bed and a charming electric fireplace. While the cottage welcomes its guests with old-world charm, the contemporary decor and features add comfort for those looking for the Camden of yesterday. The owners, Gary and James, thought of everything to make our stay wonderful. We were treated to a first-rate breakfast both mornings, fresh towels and linens and much-appreciated information about things to do around Camden. When we return to Camden, we hope to stay at their B&B again. We highly recommend The Elms of Camden!
