One of Camden's best bed and breakfast inn! Just 3 blocks to harbor, shops & restaurants. Beautiful guest rooms many with fireplaces; all air conditioned. Private baths, many with soaking or whirlpool tubs. Choose a garden room with private entrance overlooking an acre of Maine perennial gardens with our own herbs and blackberry patch. Two-course gourmet breakfast daily. Free wireless internet; free parking.
We were here several couples for a weekend. The accommodations and food were excellent. The hosts and staff were wonderful; we enjoyed talking with them and getting to know them during our stay. We would definitely come back. .

We really enjoyed the Blackberry Inn. We had one of the garden rooms, it was very nicely decorated, had a large bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Everything was clean and the fireplace was a nice touch on the rainy night when we arrived. The owners Bob and Cat were engaging and very helpful about the local area. The breakfast which is served in 2 courses was very good. Now we were there in Oct so prices may have been lower, but I thought this place was a great value. The Inn is located walking distance from the downtown and that would be essential in the summer when the town is packed. Overall I rate this place a 5 of 5.

We had a room around the back of the Inn with a private entrance. It had a very comfortable bed! Breakfast was delightful. The Inn is a short walk into Camden. While on a main road, it was quiet at night. The owners are lovely and accommodating.

The BlackBerry Inn is the perfect B & B. The owners are lovely people and the breakfast was amazing!! The property was fully booked but very quiet! It’s within walking distance to town and Camden is a very cute town. We would definitely book this Inn again!

We were only in Camden for one night and had to leave before breakfast was served. We stayed in Lizzy's Room. The decor was birds. So charming! The room is very small and the bathroom is tiny. For one night only, it was fine. Very clean and the Hobson's provided all the amenities. Bob even made us breakfast sandwiches to go since we had to leave so early. He was so nice and welcoming when we arrived. We were not impressed with the town itself. It is picturesque but the shopping was above our pay grade. We did chat with one local and he was very nice.

We spent one night here on our way to Bar Harbor. The B&B is cute. Our room had a queens sized bet, two chairs and a small bathroom. The bed was very hard which is our only complaint. The bathroom was small but serviceable. Breakfast was served on the patio with grilled pineapple, a veggie omelette and homemade sausage with herbs grown in the garden. It was delicious. The Inn is within walking distance to the center of town. It is on a highway which is busy and lots of loud trucks drive by, but by about 10 it got very quiet. We enjoyed our stay in this lovely old home. The owner was very nice.

We stopped in Camden on a family road trip through New England. We stayed in the Birch Retreat which comfortably accommodated a family of four. Unique and charming room. Comfortable queen bed. Breakfast was wonderful on the patio. Great location within walking distance of the town. Innkeepers were great!

As follow up to my prior review, the owner said she would not refund my payment since she would not be able to have someone else occupy the room. Well, while we were in Camden, we drove by the Inn and noticed a “No Vacancy” sign during the same time period of our booking. So she was able to book the room and earn double for the accommodation. She was also able to book the other larger room that was available that I tried to book that was more. Stay away from this owner and property. There are other places to stay in Camden that are accommodating and customer friendly.

My son and I booked a room for two for our trip to Maine. At the last minute, my daughter was able to join us. So, I reached out to the inn advising of the additional guest to determine if any modifications to the reservations would need to be made. I was contacted by the owner who advised that there were no rooms that could accommodate us and that my options were to cancel my reservation along with my payment for same or receive a credit for up to six months. I live in Tennessee and have no plans to return in six months so there was only one option - cancel and lose money. Or I could have just left my daughter at home - not an option. There was another room available for a higher rate with a king bed but that it only accommodated two people. I advised the owner that we could all sleep in the king bed but that option was denied by the owner due to the rigid two people only rule. I contacted the other places we are staying, and none had an issue. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced and would not recommend staying at Blackberry Inn. We could have simply shown up at the inn without notifying ahead of time of the additional, but I was trying to do the right thing and be honest. Honesty doesn't pay at the place obviously. Be warned. …

I stayed here for one night and it was wonderful. The owners are so welcoming and friendly and caring. They are so thoughtful with their amenities. The breakfast is delicious, and as someone who as a lot of allergies I was very appreciative of their ability to accommodate all of them. The location is very nice and quiet and the decor is very sweet. Will be recommending this place to everyone I know.
