We had an extended 14 day stay at the wonderful Belmont Inn. Kim and her daughter Lauren, are very friendly hosts and the entire Inn has a lovely vibe. Location to the water and "downtown" is excellent. Easy to walk everywhere, yet Belmont Avenue is quiet and tucked away from the busier streets. It's also easy to walk to Laites Beach from the Inn, less than 10 minutes. Our room Chamberlain, was just right for us, ideally spacious for a longer stay, freshly decorated and pristine. All the other bedrooms we were able to see are also nicely updated. Our daughter stayed for a few nights in Katahdin - a lovely bright and sunny double room on the top floor, and it felt almost as if you were in a treehouse. Kim and Lauren's breakfasts are very good and throughout our stay, Kim served something slightly different every day with local ingredients, often from the farmer's market. Always some fresh fruit to start, then perhaps wonderfully light homemade Maine blueberry pancakes, or smoked salmon/scrambled eggs with avocado, and even delicious savory tarts with caramelized onion/leek and goat cheese to name a few. The homemade breads were also very yummy. We spent most of our downtime sitting on the large wraparound porch, but the main communal areas inside are also light, and bright and fresh feeling. They gave us some good local recommendations for dinner, lunches and things to do if we needed them. All in all, we would love to go back sometime. Thanks for a great stay Kim and Lauren

The Belmont Inn in Camden is a lovely quintessential New England bed and breakfast. Immaculately maintained on the inside with beautiful wild flowers in the gardens which can be enjoyed while having morning coffee on the porch. Our hostess, Kim, was happy to accommodate our early departure by serving us the most delicious French toast breakfast (with a blueberry crumble on top) a bit ahead of her usual Sunday morning service. Both Kim and her daughter Lauren were genuinely concerned about keeping their guests safe during these troubling times by practicing strict social distancing policies combined with an acute attention to cleaning and disinfecting. Kim also provided great dining suggestions well in advance of our arrival so we could make reservations since restaurants have limited tables due to the circumstances. Thank you Kim for everything, including keeping our forgotten bag safe until we returned to retrieve it!! Karen M

From the moment we pulled up to this sweet Inn, we knew we were going to love it. Kim graciously greeted us at the door and welcomed us into her bright, sunny, immaculate and inviting home. She was so friendly and went above and beyond in discussing which area restaurants and attractions would best suit us.

We woke up both mornings, to a delicious homemade breakfast which was served on the beautiful and glistening sun porch while lovely classical music played in the background. The service that was provided by both mother (Kim) and daughter (Lauren) was exquisite and warm.

Our room was bright, sunny, clean and just the right size for the two of us, as was the private bathroom. Each room was decorated beautifully with vintage type plates throughout...a theme soooo fitting for the style and feel of this home.

A special addition to our "sweet" stay, were the delicious home baked cookies that were left out in the afternoon. They were so good that we would peak around the corner each time we arrived back to the house, with hopes of seeing a new batch!

Please search no further for your stay in quaint and lovely Camden, Maine.

What a wonderful experience we had staying at the Belmont Inn! We enjoyed ourselves so much. The house is cozy and full of gorgeous little touches. We loved sitting on the porch and gazing at the beautiful garden, and our room on the top floor was comfy, bright, spacious, and gorgeous. But the most memorable part of our stay, by far, will be our conversations with and the delicious breakfasts offered by Kim, the owner and innkeeper, who made us feel like family — going above and beyond in every way to make us feel at home and taken care of. We feel so fortunate to have found the Belmont and to have met Kim!

We just completed a 3-day off stay. The inn is beautifully maintained and well situated just a five-minute walk from Camden and 10-minute walk from Rockport. Very gracious, knowledgable host and superb breakfasts. We plan to return and highly recommend.

Had a lovely stay at Kim’s B&B in the earlier part of the Maine tourism season! The breakfasts were absolutely wonderful (fruit, homemade pastries, and a filling egg or meat dish), and our room was completely charming and meticulously clean. Kim gave great recommendations for restaurants and shops to visit in Camden - we were a short 5-minute walk from downtown, the harbor, and the historic district! We brought card games and a bottle of wine and enjoyed the charming living room in the evening. A really lovely stay with my mom. I would absolutely stay in The Belmont Inn again and strongly recommend to anyone looking for an enjoyable trip to Maine!

Charming house with a lovely garden and tasty breakfast. We stayed in the Katahdin room on the very top floor and felt like we were in the treetops. The hosts were very accommodating when we requested a slightly early check-in. Located within walking distance of multiple hiking trails and the harbor.

I stayed two night at this wonderful inn late July 2020, and had a wonderful time! The owner was extremely accommodating and really made me feel at home. There are plenty of things to do in the area as the inn is only a short walk from the waterfront and downtown. I would definitely recommend the Belmont Inn to anyone looking for a memorable place to stay in Camden.

Our stay at the Belmont Inn exceeded our expectations. Kim and her staff provided an atmosphere fit for a King and Queen! I truly felt like I was royalty. The Inn is immaculate over looking beautiful gardens, and just a short walk to all the excitement Camden has to offer. Breakfast each morning was freshly made and served in the cozy dining area, along with fresh juice, coffee, and tea! Can't wait for our return trip!

The Belmont Inn checks all the boxes. The property is in a quiet neighborhood just a 5 minute walk from town, restaurants, boat tours, etc. The house is spacious with several seating and dining options. Comfortable rooms and a very nice breakfast. Kim, the proprietor, is a gracious host. We were there 3 nights in August and were very pleased.

Hi there, I'd like to know if the place has guest rooms on first floor? Cheers.

Hi there, I don't believe there are any guest rooms on the first floor here. But the suggestion to call Anita, the Innkeeper for a recommendation, is a good one. Her phone # is 207-236-8053.
