They offer helpful information that turns a day’s exploration into a pleasant memory. To wake up and be able to look out to the ocean is a treat. To enjoy a delicious breakfast and pleasant chat with other travelers is a delight. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The area offers many days of interesting exploration. We hope to visit again.
Just spent an awesome week at Timbercliffe Cottage in Camden, ME. Kevin and Lucia are perfect hosts in every regard! Breakfasts were terrific as was the service. 5 star in every regard in our opinion.
Spent three nights here late July. Very nice room, functional air conditioning, absolutely wonderful porch. Interactions with the hostess friendly and informative-she made us feel welcome. Nice fellow guests, too, which makes for a nice experience. Breakfasts were innovative and good (fresh wild blueberries!). Had lots of help with things-to-do. A really enjoyable experience. Would repeat. Recommended.
Lucia and Kevin run a top notch BnB. The rooms are spotless, the hosts are wonderful and the breakfasts are delicious. Nice relaxing front porch with a view of the bay. Can’t go wrong here . We have stayed at many BnBs and this ranks in the top. Camden is also a nice walk fro the inn
We stayed in the 1620 Chamber, which overlooks the back of the inn and is very quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept well. (The bathroom for this room is tiny, but just put your things in the cabinet in the corner and you'll be fine.) The weather was perfect and we enjoyed breakfast on the veranda each morning. The inn is within walking distance of the center of Camden and Lucia gave us spot-on recommendations for sightseeing. We would definitely stay here again.
Staying at the Timbercliffe Cottage Inn was a great experience. The decor of the place is so cozy and historic. The host are out of this world, they will sit down with you to talk about what to do in town and around town. The breakfast is delicious, so tasty to remember it for the longest of time. Camden is a small fishing/sailing town with lots of little boutique stores with great deals. The surroundings, well, you are in Maine, so outdoors at it best!
This is a great bed and breakfast, Kevin and Lucia were great! The breakfasts were delicious, the rooms impeccable, and the view was great! If you’re a first time visitor to Camden, Lucia is a wealth of information and will mark a map for you. This inn is decorated with a Williamsburg feel and is beautiful! The location is a perfect distance fro downtown. We hope to return again.
This was our first trip to the coast of Maine. We chose Camden because of its central location. We chose Timbercliffe based on the reviews and were not disappointed. Our stay was 5 nights. The house is a charming historic property with parts of it dating back to 1790. It is conveniently located about a mile from downtown and the harbor and sits on a hill with a beautiful overlook of the bay from the large front porch veranda. The B&B experience is centered around the host and Kevin and Lucia did not disappoint. They were attentive, gracious and sociable. They provided tour maps and recommendations on sites, activities, vendors and restaurants. They laid out suggested itineraries with routes and timing. They packed us breakfast sandwiches when we had to leave in the morning before the scheduled breakfast to catch a guided tour. When we return to the Maine Coast we will definitely stay at Timbercliffe again.…
We stayed here just one night with family. It was a very good experience. The house is very old but well preserved. The rooms are large and comfortable. The common area is quite big and there is a patio to use in summer time. The breakfast is home made with local food. Blueberry pancakes are delicious! Lucia and her husband are very kind It worths a visit!
My husband and I stayed at Timbercliff for a long weekend getaway. I always search through trip advisors for reviews and recommendations, and my choice did not disappoint. The hosts were so welcoming. We had a wonderful stay here. The location is perfect. Close to downtown and back away off the main road. We stayed in the Chauncey Keep Chamber which was lovely and comfortable suite. Every morning we were teated to a wonderful tasty breakfast. Lucia and Kevin gave us recommendations for sites and places to visit during our stay there. They are wonderful hosts and have a beautiful inn and property. We hope to return someday during the season, so we can experience more of what Camden has to offer.
