The room was absolutely perfect. We stayed in the Trumpeter Room. It was very clean and the private deck was awesome to sit outside and enjoy the forest; which is in the back yard.Very quiet road in front, we didn't hear a thing from it. Lynn and Ken were absolutely perfect as inn keepers. They are so friendly and knowledgeable... More

Hosts are wonderful - attentive and knowledgeable regarding the area. Breakfast was among the best we ever experienced. The B & B is away from the hustle and bustle but within walking distance of Camden. Our room had a private entrance in a separate building next to the main house with windows that opened to the cool night air. We... More

This is our third or fourth trip to the Swan House, and it feels like home to us. We are always warmly greeted by Lynn and Ken and made to feel like part of their family. Lynn is a fantastic cook, and breakfast is very filling. There is a first course with homemade granola or other cereals, a couple of... More

People ask me why we go back to the Swan House year after year. My answer is, "It is simply the best!" This is the perfect combination of people and location. Being just outside of the center you avoid the hub bub of downtown, but can get there quickly. The accommodations are first rate, clean and comfy, with great beds... More

Camden gets busier but this bed and breakfast slightly off the downtown remains a quiet and welcoming place near enough to walk down the street in front of the inn or up the mountainside at the back. The homemade breakfast sets you up for the day and the hosts send you on your way with an extra blueberry muffin and... More

Swan house is a brief 10 minute walk to the heart of downtown. Very comfortable and cozy rooms, and an excellent breakfast which is served in a nice sun room at the front of the inn, and we much enjoyed the breakfast conversation with other guests. The Innkeepers have been in the business for many years and seem to have... More

I just enjoyed a wonderful week at the Swan House. From the moment I arrived, Lyn and Ken made me feel like family! My room was very clean and comfortable. It even had a small refrigerator for sodas and snacks. Thinking of snacks, each afternoon homemade goodies are provided along with a hot or cold drink, depending on the weather.... More

Nestled just off the beaten path in Camden, Maine is a wonderful B&B. We stayed in the Black Swam room which we loved. The room was perfect for the two of us. Near enough to town for a quick walk, yet far enough from the main traffic flow to be quiet and peaceful. On arrival, we were greeted by Lyn... More

My wife and I just had a fabulous stay at Swan House B&B. We were only there for one night but we are already discussing our return. In over twenty years of B&B travel I have met only a handful of hosts as warm, welcoming and gracious as Lyn, her effusive generosity was contagious and her enthusiasm for Camden was... More

This is a really great place to stay right from the time you arrive until you leave you are "one of the family". Accommodation is very comfortable and the owners make you feel very special. The house is situated within walking distance to the town and is nicely furnished and very clean. Linen is all good quality and rooms nicely... More
