I'm so glad you stayed with us, thank you! The Lodge and Camden add so much to the Mid Coast. Less than a mile from town, walk or drive, The Lodge offers a less hectic setting. Parking right in front of your cottage, fireplace suite or standard room, 5800 acre MT. Battie State Park out your back door and a... More

INNKEEPER’S FAVORITE REVIEW

We received a 2 night stay at The Lodge at Camden Hills as a gift from a family member. We stayed in a cottage, with a fireplace and jacuzzi tub. It was well-appointed, and cozy, yet roomy. The bedroom was enormous, and the entire unit was impeccably clean. It really felt like a home away from home. In fact, our... More

Our fourth year coming up to The Lodge. Stayed in the Snow Cottage...cozy, comfortable and beautifully appointed to the last detail. The most comfortable king size bed ever! Enjoyed having wine and cheese by our fireplace in the evening and breakfast on our deck in the morning. Yummy croissants or muffins and OJ delivered to our door each morning was... More

Thank you for your gracious review. Our goal at the Lodge is to make everyone's visit memorable. I'm glad you hit the foliage this fall, it was one of the best displays mother nature has put on in a long time. Here it is November and the oaks are still giving us a great display of color. We look forward... More

The Lodge at Camden Hills was lovely. We would and will go back. Very often photos are not exactly accurate and clients can be disappointed. This was the exact opposite. What you see is what you get!!! They rooms were exactly as they were shown online!!!

My wife and I were celebrating our 35th anniversary and thought this would be a nice place to stay. We were very pleased with our room and the services provided by the lodge. Great view of the bay from our porch. We would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I went to Camden to celebrate our 1st anniversary. I had an old living social coupon that I was hoping to use towards our stay. Jim was SO sweet when I called to reserve our room and agreed to allow my living social to be used against our total bill. He was so accommodating, sweet, and responsive!... More

The Lodge sits on a hill with a beautiful ocean view. The suite had a woodburning fireplace with a huge supply of firewood right outside the door. The king size bed was very comfortable and full bath had everything needed. Thank you for your wonderful review. We do everything we can to make our guests feel right at home and comfortable. We enjoyed having you at the Lodge. Guests like you are the best, always smiling and having fun. That's what a vacation is all about. On your next visit to the Lodge stay longer, there is so much to do in the area. Camden offers as much as Acadia but is a lot less hectic. And with Belfast, Rockland and... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Lodge at Camden Hills is one of the Camden's most scenic properties. Owned by the Burgess family for over forty years, the Lodge is a village of four cottages, four suites, and four standard rooms in five unique buildings across nine acres. With a view of Penobscot Bay ahead and Mount Battie directly behind us, it is easy to relax at the Lodge. Watch sailboats on the bay, wind-blown from island to island, from your private deck. Enjoy well-appointed, clean, and comfortable lodging. There is comfort in the privacy of your own space at the Lodge. Each room has a private entrance with parking and a deck with water views of Penobscot Bay. Our goal is to make our rooms as comfortable as possible. It is our experience that after a good night's sleep, Maine will work its magic on your mind and spirit! Our luxurious bedding by Cuddledown will lull you into a peaceful slumber. Our Maine-made comforters and pillows along with 400-thread count, 100% combed cotton bedding are inviting, soft, and comfortable. A continental breakfast basket is hung outside your door each morning so you can enjoy breakfast in your room at your leisure before heading out to explore the mid-coast. Start your morning with freshly-brewed coffee, tea, local baked goods, Maine-made Stonewall Kitchen jam, and orange juice. At day's end experience dramatically dark, star-filled skies, the robust smell of fir trees mixed with a little wood smoke, and cool air on your skin. Together these elements create an experience that is what Maine is all about. ... more   less
