We were eager to stay directly on Penobscot Bay, so we were willing to overlook the tried fairly shabby condition of the place. On the plus side: The owner/host was friendly and accommodating and the view was spectacular, especially the sunrise in the morning over the bay. The little road side stand just north of the office building had great... More

Older, quaint cottages, therefore slightly sloping floors and small bathrooms but incredible location right on the cliffs of the ocean, very private, pet friendly, very clean. The owners are on site and fantastic people who try their best to accommodate any requests... Have stayed many times over 20 years

I LOVE BELOIN's. It's our Happy Place. 💥 True story: each New Year's Day, I make a list of "Top 10" experiences from the year that just ended. Great fun to make the list & look back on faves, & "Top 10" notebook is a terrific memory-helper in the decades since I began this joyful list. Our annual week at... More

I can't imagine coming to mid-coast Maine and not staying at Beloins. Staying at Beloins is a step back in time and we wouldn't have it any other way. We stayed in one of the duplex cottages with the most spectacular view of Penobscot Bay....with lobster fishermen coming so close you could hear their conversations! Although our original plans were... More

A group of friends and I had the extreme pleasure of staying at Beloin's last weekend, and we could not have been happier with our good fortune. Being able to hear the water lapping at the rocky beach from our bedroom windows and seeing the red full moon rise over Penobscot Bay each night was such a treat. We stayed... More

Like others have said, the cabins are well worn. But, anything can be overlooked when you gaze out of your front windows onto the ocean. We've been going to Ogunquit for 25 years and decided to venture out to a new area. We've never been to the rocky coast. I wasn't sure I'd like not being near a sand beach.... More

I have been staying at Beloin's for 18 years. We stay here for the quiet and the views not to be pampered. If you need services and air conditioning this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a bed and shower and a place to cook on your own so that you can read a book... More

This was our 3rd and longest stay. We stayed in a duplex cabin. The kitchenette has all you need other than an oven: microwave (very old but functional), hot plate with 2 burners, full refrigerator and 2-cup coffee maker. They stock it with dishes, silverware, pots and pans, so if you want to avoid going out to eat, just go... More

Rooms and cottages are basic but clean and comfortable. The views and setting of the cottages and shore motel are nothing short of incredible. The owners are friendly and helpful and very accommodating. Very close proximity to downtown Camden and Camden Hills State Park.

Perfect seaside location. Rustic and clean. Very friendly at the front desk. If you want a quiet seaside getaway this is the place. My dog and I enjoyed the beautiful hidden beach and walking around the spacious property we had the last unit # 9 which was perfect for my dog & I. The view from our screened in porch... More
