Beautiful Inn, top notch service, but if you are planning to sleep in this is not the place. We stayed in room 206 and the guests above us woke every morning at 7am and were not quiet. Creaky floors loud plumbing.
Great return visit. We were there for a night in early January. Service was great, wonderful view of Camden Harbor. Recommend it highly on or off season. Natalie's had a full menu including a Lobster tasting. Breakfast was great. Camden is great harbor town to walk around.
We "escaped" to the Camden Harbor Inn for our 10th anniversary from our house 10 minutes away. We booked the room based on the bathroom amenities. Our suite had an amazing two person sauna that was clean and worked great. The steam shower was large and perfect. Brand new clean tiling. The air bath is lovely if one is of average height.Being 6'6" and 6'4" we found the sauna and air bath small...but that isn't a criticism, only a woe at being gigantic. But having those amenities right in the room is a great luxury. Loved the fireplace and the winter view of the harbor. Not such a fan of the decor, but that is just my taste. Breakfast was tasty and everyone was very nice and helpful and there was a large staff to take care of our needs when we arrived. Having a complimentary stocked fridge with water, soda and some beer was really nice. We took a few short walks around the neighborhood to look at the beautiful views and houses in the neighborhood. Made reservations for dinner at our favorite romantic spot in Camden and walked there and back. All in all a lovely overnight Yes, the stairs are steep and not to code, but it is an old house inn, so be prepared for old house quirks. …
My husband and I just returned from our first stay at The Camden Harbor Inn and we can't wait to go back. We went for our 6th anniversary and love to celebrate the occasion by playing tourist in our home state. We'd heard from many foodie friends and family that the in-house restaurant, Natalies, was among the best meals of their lives and so we decided to make a night of it. Upon arrival, the gentleman at the front desk helped us with our bags and brought us to our suite where artisanal appetizers, prosecco, and a welcome note awaited our arrival (we prepaid for our dinner and I believe this was a feature). We were acclimated to our beautiful accommodations and the included amenities and it felt like every potential need had been thought of by the staff. After enjoying our snacks and getting comfortable we made our way to Natalie's for our reservation. We arrived to a warm and proficient Sven, who greeted us by name and confirmed our dietary preferences before seating us in a cozy corner of the restaurant. A toast of cava greeted us almost immediately, and both Sven and our delightful server Zane answered our questions about the menu. We opted for the wine pairing which brought the lovely wine director to our table for the perfect amount of guidance and information about each pour. The meal and service were nothing short of stellar. We savored every sip and bite and were delighted by the thoughtful surprises. Upon return to our room, we found a lovely turndown service complete with a kind note and chocolates. The bed was quite comfortable. Breakfast was included in the room, and we arrived to a new and equally thoughtful serving staff. We had coffee, water, and what was described as 'your morning smoothie' at our table before we could finish reading the menu. Again, a wonderful experience. Check out was no different, the gentleman at the front desk kindly inquiring if he could help us with our bags or get us some water or anything for our shopping excursion in town. We left feeling completely cared for, refreshed, and remarking that this was by far our best anniversary yet. Thank you to the amazing individuals that made this weekend so wonderful!…
Wonderful small Hotel. Hotel staff takes care of its guests in many ways big and small. My daughter and I spent a great week in Camden over the Thanksgiving holidays using the hotel as our base for daily hikes and bike rides. The hotel’s restaurant Natalie’s serves food to die for.
The inn was fabulous. The room was spacious, well kept and had a bathroom with a large soaking tub and steam shower. Likely one of the cleanest rooms we ever stayed at and everything was included. Wifi, breakfast and snacks and sodas in the room. We even had an espresso maker and we loved the Molton Brown amenities in the bathroom. Old world luxury as you would only see when traveling abroad. Service was excellent and very personalized. Little notes in the room upon arrival and before you are going to sleep (with delicious chocolates). This was a level of service your rarely find in hotels, especially post COVID, We would go back again if only for the lobster eggs Benedict and a mimosa served for breakfast.
First, it is a beautiful location. The building is set back on a lush gardened lawn. The deck at the entrance is both classic and contemporary. The outdoor dining area is very well designed. The dining room interior is also beautiful with a modern and warm design. The room was clean and spacious and the bathroom was nicely designed, modern and clean. The staff was friendly. The food at Natalie’s was AMAZING!!! Why I am giving a mixed review is the following: 1. When I booked the room I called on the phone and told them it was our anniversary but when we got to the room there was no note or acknowledgement. I had also booked the dinner reservation on that same phone call and requested outdoor dining but when we arrived at dinner they put us inside (which was very nice but not what we had asked for.) When I mentioned to the host that I had asked for outdoor dining she said that they cannot guarantee who sits indoors or outside. I would have thought that because it was our anniversary they would have done something….like give us outdoor dining or put a note on the bed with a rose or a token champagne. 2. The room was nice, but the AC was pretty loud. For 700 dollars I think that there should have been a quieter AC model. We turned it off but then it was too hot and so I did not sleep well. The bed however was incredibly soft and comfortable. Thus part of my mixed review.…
We the time we spend at this beautiful inn. The people working at the inn were very friendly and welcoming. No request was too much and we felt pampered. The room was beautiful with a bathroom with a steam shower and soaking tub. Stunning views over the harbor and mountains and a deck to soak up the sun. Breakfast was included and the best breakfast we ever had. Lobster Egg Benedict and a Mimosa all part of our stay. The room had complimentary drinks and snacks and a really good espresso maker. We loved the 3 days at Camden Harbor Inn and hope to be back soon. A very special place and highly recommended
Great place to stay and wonderful service. The inn is located about a 5 minute walk from town. The staff was very accommodating and attended to all our needs. They packed a picnic lunch for us one day for us to enjoy while touring the area. The food was outstanding. Very enjoyable stay.
This place is an absolute, utter ripoff at $795 per night. The minute you walk into the lobby and throughout the entire building, the place stinks like your grandmother’s musty closet. We were in a Bay View Executive room on the second floor and the old carpet was worn and heavily stained, the cheapo curtains are gross, the window box air conditioner (are we in the 1940s?) is loud, there are $5 book reading lights attached to the wall above the bed and all the outlets throughout the bedroom are loose/cannot accommodate my iPhone charger (so I charged my iPhone in the bathroom). Note the glowing photo of the white building facade on the web site. The building is run down and looks nothing like it in person (See Photos). Also, the staircase is treacherous for those with any mobility issues. On the positive side, the restaurant staff is nice, the bathroom is reasonably updated, there are $20 worth of free drinks in your refrigerator and it is a quick walk to town. If you are going to get charged Four Seasons prices, you should not get a Holiday Inn feel. Some may call this charm but I call it a dump. A fair price is $250 per night for this place, even in high season in the summer.…
