We shall return
The Inn is located directly on the waterfront. My hubby and I had a harborview with a balcony. The furniture and balcony were spotless. The king bed was clean with plenty of pillows and the linens were soft. The bathroom was large and had every accommodation. Heated fan, ambient light for night, bright for day. The shower was roomy with all the nozzles you could desire. I even used the jacuzzi tub. The people at the inn were professional and very attentive to us. People watching from the balcony was a good time. We are going to go back to Camden just to stay at Grand Harbor Inn it was that good.

A nice mix of luxury and cosy comfort with a stellar view
The location for the Grand Harbor Inn couldn't be more central and yet you barely hear any noise at night. We had a room with a patio overlooking the harbor which provided constant eye-candy with all the passing boats, schooners, yachts and water taxis. The hotel is well appointed with choice amenities and comfortable beds. The only downsides were the appallingly slow WiFi and the lack of variety, quality or portion size for the in-room delivered breakfasts. You're better off eating offsite at one of Camden's many coffee shops.

Hello GibsonHyde, Thank you for writing a review about the Grand Harbor Inn! As Camden's only downtown waterfront property, we have a central location that offers peace and luxury. We take great pride in being able to offer guest rooms that offer outstanding views for our guests to enjoy. Thank you for the feedback regarding our current modified breakfast offerings, as we aim to provide a delicious, high quality and safe breakfast experience to our guests each morning. We do look forward to soon returning to our pre-Covid breakfast selection and presentation, often regarded as the highlight of our guest's overall experience. In regards to the poor Wi-Fi experience you encountered, we do apologize and realize that this is one of the most important guest amenities. Fortunately we learned that it was simply one of our wireless access points that just needed to be reset. A simple fix. We look forward to the opportunity to welcome you back to Camden sometime soon. With Warm Hospitality, Emily Kessel Manager Trainee Bay View Collection

Three day birthday getaway
My husband and I spent three wonderful nights, celebrating a big birthday for him, at this gem of a small boutique hotel. We loved it. We were in a king suite which was very nice and had everything we needed including a fireplace in the living room and bedroom, a jetted tub and separate shower, a refrigerator, a microwave and a Keurig coffee pot. The shower had multiple jets with loads of hot water. Every morning a delicious breakfast, included, was deliver to our room. The location on Camden Harbor was perfect because we could walk to restaurants and shopping. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and responded immediately to our needs. Everything was immaculate. I used to live in the area so it was a nostalgic getaway and met all of our expectations and more. Thank you Grand Harbor.

Camden and Grand Harbor Week
We enjoyed our week stay with you. Our room at the Grand Harbor was excellent. The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful when needed. Realizing we were traveling during the Covid pandemic we knew there would be some changes in the level of service. Your operation could not have done a better job. The separate door hangers passed out each day for breakfast and for room needs worked great. Being there seven days, not once did we receive the same breakfast items. Each day our breakfast was something different ( delivered hot and well prepared) and that you included juices and a pot of coffee was outstanding. We enjoyed the week.

Best shower ever
The Inn is 10 rooms on the second floor above a harborside retail center. The building has an elevator. We got a suite with a balcony and partial harbor view - that was good enough for us. There are three restaurants right in the parking lot and several more within easy walking distance, so the location here is really good. I liked the room a lot, but the bathroom had a stand up shower with six body sprays and also had a jacuzzi tub. These were sooo nice.

We didn't dine at the 16 Bay View sister hotel, but we did get the complimentary breakfast every day: quiche, yogurt, pastries, coffee, fruit, and juice were among the offerings, and that was delivered right to our room each morning at our selected time. Housekeeping is on demand and that worked out fine. We liked the Inn a lot and would return.

Hello Chris, Thank you for your review. We are so glad you enjoyed Grand Harbor Inn! We are so lucky to be the only waterfront property in Camden that has three amazing restaurants just steps outside our front door. All of our guest rooms do offer the amazing shower and tub. Our complimentary breakfast (all items prepared fresh daily right next door at 16 Bay View Hotel), is a highlight of many of our guests' stays. At this time we have opted to limit housekeeping to not entering guest rooms daily due to the Covid pandemic, but are happy to provide replenish linens and amenities as requested. We look forward to your return visit! Cordially, Christopher Sprague Director of Guest Services

Almost perfect
Let me say, this is a very nice hotel. Not quite 5 stars, but very close.

Check-in was easy and friendly. We stayed in room 1 which is top notch at this hotel. In December it was pretty quiet, but fair warning, in summer this would be a noisy room due to outside activity on the pier.

View was very nice from the bedroom and living room. Some things overlooked that I am always shocked by at some higher end hotels. Lack of soft close lids on toilet seats, and charging $5 for a small bottle of water in the rooms. Since we we were paying over $500 a night for this room, seems like providing a couple of decent size waters would be a nice touch. A lot of upper end hotels do this now.

Breakfast in the room was a nice touch, but the quiche was cold by the time it got to our room, so thankfully there was a microwave in the room to heat it back up. Coffee station in the room was also a nice addition with a good assortment of pods.

I think for the time of year the price was a little steep but with a few small tweaks I would give it five stars, although in summer it would probably be too loud. Location in town is definitely 5 stars.

Double sided fireplace in this room is great for ambiance and provided more than enough heat,

Amazing Inn with beautiful Harbor views
I did a lot of research to find a safe place to stay amid this pandemic since my husband has a weakened immune system. I wanted a place that was extra clean with a great view where we could relax, rejuvenate, feel comfortable and have fun and we found the perfect place in this inn! The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The breakfasts were great and loved having them delivered to our room since we do not do indoor dining yet. We found a few outdoor restaurants for dinners which were very good. The best part was our beautiful balcony! We loved watching the boats and the beautiful views. The size was perfect and we were able to have a few dinners ordered from some of the many local restaurants . We felt like we had our own private waterfront restaurant! .

The owners and staff have done an amazing job in these very difficult times ! We love it so much we booked our next stay in October!

Emily Was Fantastic!
We recently stayed at The Grand Harbor Inn for our 25th Anniversary. We were presented with a few challenges due to some reservation issues that were the fault of the actual trip advisor site. We were not in the town we wanted to be in, nor did they have king size suites with a view available. I was ready to pack it up and head home. My husband reached out to the staff to try to make a rough start, go a little smoother. Emily pulled some magic and helped create a weekend of great memories. The food was fantastic, her recommendations of places to go, beautiful in room flowers and chocolate...she made it all happen. On top of that, we were visiting during a time of COVID and I felt the attention to cleaning, distancing, masking, all things sanitation were handled with excellence. That was super important to us, and they went above and beyond.

Perfection in Camden
If you are looking for the perfect location in a perfect setting, then the Grand Harbor Inn is exactly that - especially given that our particular room (#2) was on the water with only the dock between our second (top) floor balcony and the water where the Windjammer schooner Appledore (their sunset cruise under full sail is amazing!) was tied up. We had a clear view across the harbor and out to the bay - just gorgeous! We were literally steps away from all the best restaurants and bars, ice cream, coffee, and clothes shops, harbor tours and kayak rentals. The staff at the Inn were all very friendly and helpful, and the large room, king size bed, large bathroom and shower were pleasantly spacious in an inn setting. Breakfast is brought to your door, and free parking is very handy. (There is also a room micro, fridge, coffee maker and safe.) We will definitely be going back!!

Dear Scott and Cindy, I truly appreciate your 5-star review, I know how hard it can be to go on vacation and the weather not quite cooperating! Been there, done that... I'm very happy that you were able to enjoy your stay and our amenities despite the heavy rain and winds! Our rooms and suites are perfect for hunkering down and relaxing next to the fire and sipping a nice glass of wine. Perhaps your next visit will be under blue skies and bright sunshine! Thank you again, Ashley Watts, Guest Services Manager
