HOTEL’S FAVORITE REVIEW
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2016 via mobile

Probably the best stay/most perfect hotel I've had the pleasure of staying in. Porch: perfect Decor: comfortable and interesting and inspiring. Rooms: clean, perfectly appointed. Staff: friendly and welcoming Restaurant: easily the best on our trip up the coast (fried chicken was uniquely great and a nice break from the seafood--which is also amazing. The shrimp and grits also memorably... More

The hotel was lovely as was the friendly and helpful staff. Loved the restaurant on site and the free breakfast was out of this world! Stayed there for labor day weekend. Rooms in the back facing trees are nice for quiet. The only thing i didn't like was the tiny bathroom that didn't have a full door and the sink... More

For our first trip to Maine we decided to stay in Camden. We searched for B&Bs and were charmed by the images of Whitehall. Our arrival to Whitehall did not disappoint. A stunning house just a few blocks from the center of town. Our hostess, Jessica, was sweet and friendly. We were quickly checked in and headed to our room.... More

Fabulous twist on an historic building. Quick brisk beautiful walk to downtown and Mt. Battie hikes. Lovely amenities; COMFY pillows and beds, love the Lather products. Service was fast, friendly and hiply-funky. All apple, all groovy...great. Breakfast bites were delish; breakfast room quite cool, but unsavorily noisy. Would stay here again. With earplugs at breakfast.

The staff is very professional and personable (especially the charming receptionist). Breakfast comes with the room, and it is very creative, healthy and good. Several common room areas are available for relaxing, as the rooms are not too inviting for seating. The bed was excellent, however. This is an older, renovated Inn, so some flexibility is needed. However, our one... More

This was the first place I stayed while waiting for a house I was going to rent to open up. I was given a great room with a slight view of the water. The room was lovely, large and a wonderful bed. I woke up to a wonderful breakfast that I really didnt expect. Totally excellent and felt pampered by... More

We stayed for 2 nights in a king room. Everything was wonderful, the staff is great, especially Jessica. We had dinner at the Pig and Poet one night, it was great food, small menu, but I think something for everyone. The facility itself was wonderful, great outdoor seating with fire pit, Lots of rocking chairs on porch, half mile walk... More

Beautifully decorated hotel and great staff...when available. Room on the first floor off the lobby was a bit cramped and loud with noise from the back kitchen staff throughout the night & in the morning Asked to be moved 2nd night but told Inn was sold out. Definitely avoid room 106...
