We just stopped for a drink at the bar. The decor is super funky and modern. ( as is the older man behind the bar). The drink menu had some interesting specialty drinks that we tried. Probably would try a place on the waterfront next time. The bartender mentioned that the place isn't open during cold weather, they shut down.

We stayed here for 3 days in August. Loved the hotel and Camden. We were in a suite with another couple- the Lark suite which worked well and was very comfortable . Jessica Ferguson was wonderful and very helpful. The breakfasts we're primo and dinner one night at the Pig and Poet was excellent. The Whitehall has an excellent bar... More

The rooms here are very nice. We had a suite and it was sizeable and clean. We thought the breakfasts were weird- numerous tiny plates and bowls with a single serving on them. I think it would be easier if they simply put out a large containers off eggs and other things, rather than have guests run back and forth... More

I stayed at a Lark hotel on Nantucket last Summer and really, really, enjoyed my stay. I had never heard of Lark before then but have received a few emails from the company since that stay. This trip was on short notice, kinda winging it with my 21 year old daughter. We both love Camden , so when I saw availability... More

We absolutely LOVED everything about our stay at Whitehall. It was so great, that my (now) fiance decided to propose to me there! Despite any bias due to the engagement, Whitehall is fabulous for many reasons. It is beautiful and meticulously maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I found it to be an extremely relaxing and comfortable place... More

Probably the best stay/most perfect hotel I've had the pleasure of staying in. Porch: perfect Decor: comfortable and interesting and inspiring. Rooms: clean, perfectly appointed. Staff: friendly and welcoming Restaurant: easily the best on our trip up the coast (fried chicken was uniquely great and a nice break from the seafood--which is also amazing. The shrimp and grits also memorably... More

Booked a "Deluxe Queen Sea View" room for 5 nights in August. Was put into a tiny room overlooking the dumpsters in the back. Even though the bed was comfy and the staff were more than apologetic, it was disappointing. Since it was the beginning of the weekend, the best they could do is give us the room we booked... More

A lovely, recently updated, B&B on a hill approximately 1/2 mile from downtown Camden. We spent one night in a king-twin conversion room. While a bit small, it was very comfortable and beautifully furnished. The website photographs give an excellent feel for the property. There is plenty of well furnished common space. The staff was personable and knowledgeable. We would... More

A very beautiful place and location is withing walking distance of town. Service could have been better when it came to wanting room service as there is a restaurant right inside the Inn. When looking at the pictures of the place, one gets the idea that you are right on the water, which you are not. It is right on... More

We're very happy to hear you found our inn beautiful and in a great location. We make no bones about being located on Route 1 (it's part of the reason our location is so good), and there is only one photo of the water on our website, and it's one depicting the town of Camden itself (the picturesque Camden Harbor... We had a very nice stay at Whitehall. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was small but comfortable. I really liked the atmosphere. It made for a great getaway. We really enjoyed drinking Mai tais on the porch, but be careful, they sneak up on you. We would definitely go back. I love the history of the... More
