David welcomed us warmly on a rainy dark night. He engaged us and our children in great conversation, cooked us tasty food from the local farmers market, baked delicious treats and was generous with them. Our fondest memory is floating peacefully on William Pond on rafts that he purchased and inflated for all 6 of us. The bedding and accommodations... More

We stayed at Williamspondlodge this past week. Room spotless. Slept with the windows open and could hear the call of the loons at dawn. David a great breakfast maker especially the popovers and the German pancakes. Made our trip enjoyable by helping us map our day. Saw many beautiful Maine sights that we would have missed without the assistance of... More

We stayed last month at David Weeda's peaceful retreat at the edge of Williams Pond and enjoyed it immensely! David is a wonderful host and a generous cook. He not only serves an excellent breakfast, but also a delicious dessert that awaits you after you make the trip back up the gravel road to the lodge at the end of... More

Unquestionably the most comfortable B&B experience ever. David just gets everything right, from the soap and lots of places to hang things to the totally peaceful and lovely setting. Our room was spotless. We didn't have time to go searching for wonderful Maine experiences, but we didn't have to - we found it at the Lodge. Breakfasts were excellent; David... More

This is a peaceful retreat infused with a passion for people, food, the surrounding area and the earth. Hosts David and Dominic are the ultimate inn keepers, sharing their love of all the above with guests who are lucky enough to find them. Tucked away at the end of a dirt road on the edge of a beautiful pond, this... More

A very isolated location that is an easy drive to Acadia and other attractions but an experience of solitude that is refreshing and rewarding. My wife and I as well as a another married couple stayed here for 3 days. the rooms and buildings are really well done and very comfortable. the main attraction is the host, David. I felt... More

My fifth visit to Williams Pond Lodge B&B was as wonderful as the first four and passed much too quickly, as did the others. Host David was as attentive as ever. His breakfasts were as delicious and satisfying as ever. During my seven days there I enjoyed omelets, scrambled eggs, trout, salmon, cornmeal pancakes, German pancakes, and French toast, as... David was such a wonderful host. He came up with some of the most wonderful breakfasts. He makes everything from scratch (even his own granola), which he served us every morning with fresh fruit and yogurt. And that was just for starters. Then in the evening he would serve homemade delectable desserts. My husband and I spent our honeymoon there,... More

We made Williams Pond Lodge our home base while exploring Acadia and surroundings for a week in late July, 2015. My wife, 10 year-old daughter and I were all sad to leave this delightful place. In addition to being an old friend, the host, David Weeda, is an artist in the kitchen, a font of recommendations for things to see... More

Two wonderful nights were spent at this haven in the woods. It is a beautiful setting on the pond and so very quiet and peaceful! David and Dominick are wonderful hosts. David is quite the chef and provides gourmet breakfasts and also great dessert in the evening. A tin of homemade shortbread cookies was waiting for us when we got... More
