Stayed here for business and while the Tavern and the staff in both the Tavern and the Hotel were fantastic, the room itself was lacking. Towels were moist on a daily basis, the bed was not comfortable. The floor was not vacuumed in the hallways as someone had tracked dirt in from outside. My biggest complaint was the lack of... More

HOTEL’S FAVORITE REVIEW
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2016

This is a new hotel made to look like a traditional New England Inn. What I liked most was its close proximity to the Amtrak station, just a short walk away, unlike the Amtrak station in Portland which isn't convenient to anything. There is also bus service to Boston. If you rent a car from Enterprise, you can return the... More

Nice new hotel, but overpriced. I realize it's close to the college, and downtown so they think they can get away with charging more. We paid extra to include breakfast with our stay. Not worth the extra cost. Had a late lunch in the restaurant in the hotel. Not worth the price. We stay in Brunswick/Freeport appox. 4 times per... More

Thoroughly enjoyed staying here! We were welcomed by front desk and room accommodations were clean, neat with ample charging plugs ... Bathroom even had black make up wash cloth! We stayed in room 319. Only inconvenience was having to go to restaurant for ice! Location good with adequate parking and easy walk to restaurants nearby (we did not eat at... More

An excellent hotel with super clean and well maintained property. Wonderful location in the center of Brunswick close walking distance to all shopping and local restaurants. Also near to Bowdoin College, great for family visits, etc.

Last week the Brunswick Hotel and Tavern telephoned me to tell me they were cancelling my reservation with them. I had made the reservation through Booking.com NINE MONTHS prior because it was high season and a weekend when we were taking our great nephew , a high school student, to see Bowdoin College and the central coast of Maine. Booking.com... More

We visited Brunswick because we wanted to experience all forms of transport on our trip to maine and other arts of the US. Our objective was to stay a few nights at a beautiful small town and to take the AMTRAK (called Downeaster) to Boston. The train starts at Brunswick and reaches Boston after passing through some beautiful towns. We... More

Thank you chimpu05 for choosing to stay with us. We are also a short taxi ride to nearby Bath, Harpswell, and Bailey Island, and there is even access to the region through the Brunswick Executive Airport, which accepts both private planes and charter flights. We hope you return to explore the many other exciting areas that Maine's MidCoast & Islands... More

We had a very pleasant stay at the Brunswick Hotel. It is across the street from the Bowdoin campus. The room was lovely and quiet. We ate dinner and breakfast at the Tavern and found the food to be very good. Check in was pleasant and problem-free. There is ample parking.
