I wanted this to be so much more. After reading the reviews, I assumed quaint centrally located hotel. I only got centrally located. Nothing about this hotel was memorable. Check in was easy, our room was located over the parking lot (free parking). But the furnishings and room itself was so boring and blah. The bathroom was beat up pretty bad, stains on the walls and shower. The bedding was super soft and comfy. We all slept great. Breakfast (fruit, yogurt, pastry and coffee) was offered from 7-9. I couldn’t find coffee anywhere before 7am. Huge pet peeve of mine. I’m an early riser. Why can’t I have access to coffee?? I won’t stay again…

Hotel's Favorite
We had a very nice stay at the Brunswick. Very comfortable bed, linens and pillows. Room was clean. Plenty of hot water. Just a block from Maine Street and restaurants. They run a nice pleasant Hotel. We just wanted to get away for a night, walk around, go to a few new restaurants, shop and just relax and forget about the madness for a weekend. What a great place to go. We will be back.

The stay was very pleasant and the manager made available a very nice conference for my use. Wifi worked great. Beds and AC worked great. Housekeepers do very nice job. Parking is very convenient and the location in town was perfect for us. Lobby areas are very generous.

The hotel is well situated on the edge of the Bowdoin College campus and at the top of Maine street. Rooms here are clean and comfortable, with well appointed bathrooms and plush bathrobes. What the hotel lacks in charm (think slightly upscale Hampton Inn), it makes up for in cleanliness, an attractive lobby, a friendly staff, and a very good bar/restaurant (Noble Kitchen and Bar).

The Brunswick Hotel is a wonderful hotel with great staff, an amazing location (across the street from Bowdoin and an easy walk to adorable downtown Brunswick), comfy beds, a modern rustic aesthetic, and ample parking. We always stay there when we're in Brunswick.
