Our family weekend gathering celebration event was held at the Brunswick Hotel. The service and staff were beyond expectation! Specifically Dawnelle at the front desk was so gracious and accommodating to our needs. Our dinner guests at Noble on Friday evening were impressed with the dining choices and execution. Kudos to your head chef and bar tender. Russell Hewey is a treasure. We were sure he was a set of twins. He is an accomplished guest services professional. Party on Saturday evening was festive and fun.

Hotel's Favorite
We had a very nice stay at the Brunswick. Very comfortable bed, linens and pillows. Room was clean. Plenty of hot water. Just a block from Maine Street and restaurants. They run a nice pleasant Hotel. We just wanted to get away for a night, walk around, go to a few new restaurants, shop and just relax and forget about the madness for a weekend. What a great place to go. We will be back.

My wife and I had great pleasure in dining with Russell, Chef, and Anastasia during our stay. The new menu is leagues ahead of where it was during my previous visit. Russell (F&B manager/sommelier) is a gold mine for the restaurant. He could easily work at a high end restaurant in any metropolitan area. Restaurant staff Anastasia was wonderful and Riley was very attentive. Great teamwork all around the restaurant and property. Everyone was superb. Highly recommend.

The hotel was very comfortable and convenient with large guest rooms and a nice foyer and dining room where we had breakfast and dinner. The reception and wait staff were very friendly and the hotel was in a great central location for our visit. We had an outstanding dinner one evening; the boeuf bourguignon was delicious, the best I have ever had and the Manhattan cocktail was delightful. Our only complaint was that the rooms were a little dark and we were told that new lamps were on their way.

Nice hotel, the beds were nice, and the room was clean. The college is right across the street, short walk to the main street restaurants. My only issue was that the hotel restaurant was closed both of the days we stayed – the one that is in the nice picture on the website ☹

This hotel is a good location, across the street from the college campus, which has a nice park area and a museum. There were a couple of issues with the reservation prior to my arrival--technical issues with their website, but these were resolved. Our room was very nice and very clean. We missed having a fridge, but I think they have some rooms that do have them. We had a dinner package and the restaurant was excellent. The continental breakfast was small, but nice.

This hotel is a bit tired and a lot disorganized. I booked it months in advance but they switched over their computer system and lost some of my information. The room was adequate but nothing special.

A lovely dinner made special by the staff. Food is good for the most part but the wait table star are lovely, knowledgeable and helpful. Made the dinner so much better. Vegetable tempora was yummy, as was the salmon and the quinoa. Worth a visit.

This hotel is absolutely the worst! We had confirmed overnight reservation for this weekend. our check-in was at 3pm and we got a call from the hotel at 1:45 saying that we no longer have a room available. First they lied saying that it was a computer glitch that caused this overbooking and then they told us that by the time our online reservation was updated in their system the front desk person had already assigned the remaining rooms to someone else! The front desk person who called us give us this news was unapologetic and rude. I asked to speak to the manager and was told that he was in a meeting and would be tied up indefinitely and offered to transfer me to a voicemail which was full and had no option for leaving the message! Needless to say wow were already there and couldn't find any accommodation in the immediate area as most of the hotels were full! It ruined our weekend plans entirely.

Easy access to Bowdoin College and the Chamberlain House museum. Good pick-up breakfasts and coffee. It was a shame not even the bar was open at night, however. Would have been nice to stay in the hotel instead of going out.
