This was my first time staying at OneSixtyFive in Brunswick. It was recommended to me by some locals. The hotel and decor were lovely, the breakfast fantastic, and the bar was wonderful. I highly recommend it.
We stayed in the main house which was recently renovated. There were thoughtful touches everywhere and the rooms were very comfortable and well set up. The common areas are very warm and welcoming and we spent a lot of time at the bar just chatting to with the staff. More than anything, everyone was so friendly and accommodating that we felt right at home. We have already booked our stays for this fall. Great location in downtown and close to Bowdoin.
Excellent location, welcoming staff, immaculate rooms, and a delightful breakfast, all in a gem of a historical home! Total attention to detail. Perfect balance of new (linens, furnishings) and old (glass doorknobs, original hardwood floors, etc.). We will definitely be back.
My husband and I recently took the train to Brunswick and stayed overnight at the inn. Our host Renny, greeted us with such genuine enthusiasm! The inn has recently been renovated, from top to bottom. So, not only is it spotless, but very contemporary, while preserving the New England flavor. There is a pub/ hunting lodge type lounge on the first floor, in addition to a lovely living room. The bedding was a dream. Our room overlooked the common green. In the morning, we were greeted with a bag containing fresh pastries, yogurt and berries, juice and scones. The coffee was readily available and a delicious blend. Steps away from everything Brunswick and the Bowdoin campus has to offer, look no further, for a great getaway!
Good spot to stay, close to everything and friendly helpful customer service. The Noble restaurant menu is tasty. the deck must be nice in Summer. We visited in Fall and our room was warm and quite large.
We spent three wonderful nights here in the Carriage House. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and the amenities were super. Wine beer and non-alcohol drinks on ice when we arrived. The main building was damaged and had to be completely redone, electrical HIVAC, etc. I can’t wait to go back as the work is scheduled to be done this December. The staff and owner are FANTASTIC! They are devoted to taking care of their guests—home made granola and coffee cake to add to breakfast yogurt and orange juice is just the beginning. The personal service, great location, and historical ambiance can’t be beat. If you are in Brunswick, Maine you need to stay here.
We stayed in the Carriage House which had a very spacious room and really nice atmosphere. The location was also great - very close the the common and downtown shops. Unfortunately there was a fire in the main house just before our stay so they had to deliver a boxed breakfast to our room, but they made the best out of a bad situation. Would stay there again if we were in the area.
I've stayed here 3 or 4 times, always in the Carriage House, and always had a great night's sleep. It's quiet and very comfortable, and I will definitely come again. My only wish is that the delicious breakfasts were lower in fat, or that there were at least options to have low-fat. Also, now during Covid, there was no hot water provided in the Carriage House during the day / evening, only early in the mornings, and no microwave available in the common area.
Treated to a glass of wine as we waited for our room. Can’t say enough about the management and staff! Ok, maybe exceptional would be enough. Close to lots of good food. Missing music on the common but loved the small shops in town.
My stay at the Brunswick Inn was wonderful! The Inn is elegant, decorated with an exquisite taste, and the place is very peaceful, in spite of the fact that all room were occupied (I was lucky to get the last room available that weekend!). Excellent customer service, great breakfast, set right in the middle of the town. What a gem! When I posted some photos for my friends back in Europe, they asked in which movie I was living. Thank you so much for a great experience! Looking forward to come back and stay at this beautiful inn.
