Absolutely spectacular property with so many thoughtful touches that put it over and above a 5* feel without feeling pretentious. The property itself has been so beautifully redone - the tiles, the bathrooms, the comfy beds, the suite views, the beach furniture -- everything is so thoughtfully curated, I could go on and on about the aesthetic. Beyond that though, the service is truly extraordinary. The guys at the beach took such good care of us every day with such careful and considerate service. Cold water, little samples of cocktails, sun products... everything just felt like it had purpose and the team was so service oriented. The same was true at the restaurants. Woodend was lovely, but Casa Mayor was the standout for me. We dined there for breakfast daily and Mateo was fantastic. The breakfast offering is extensive (get the chilaquiles and thank me later), and their coffee focus is so thoughtful, every day representing a different region of Mexico through coffee. As a coffee lover, I could have spent all morning there! Dinner at Casa Mayor was also perfection. Great menu, elevated Mexican cuisine, fantastic service, and Mexican wines on the menu. We didn't get to try any of the spa services but the spa area (Guerlain) is absolutely gorgeous. All around, exceptional experience, setting the bar for luxury service in Mexico. I have stayed at quite a few in RM and Playa del Carmen but the Belmond by far tops the list. The food was extraordinary as well as the staff. They did not leave a single detail out when it came towards their new renovation. The beach was crystal clear, felt almost as if I was in Tahiti. It felt exclusive and prestige, worth every dollar. I would recommend it for any occasion, family-friendly as well. Picture perfect from every corner you look, INCREDIBLE!!!

Enjoyed the property during a hybrid business and pleasure retreat. The property is intimate and naturally beautiful. The staff is beyond friendly and knowledgeable. Every detail was thoughtful and intentional. I woukd 100 percent return to this little slice of Paradiso.
