My husband and I stayed here after a weekend of volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House as I had doctor appointments there the next day. The lady who checked us in was hands down the friendliest person ever. We fell in love with her fron the start, and the office is adorable, very rustic and could easily pass for a...

We lucked out when we stumbled into the Colony Motel during a busy parent's weekend at a local university. Our room was spotless and very comfortable with cute decor. Lynn was an outstanding host. Great location with easy access to Bangor.

We stayed here one night on our way to the east coast. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. It was very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. We had a great night sleep! Definitely recommend this motel!

We stayed one night on our way to the East Coast without a reservation. We were shown two rooms by the owner and made the decision to take the larger room with two queen size beds over two double beds. Both rooms were immaculately clean and the owner took pride in how they presented. The owner stated that the motel...

Very clean, with many homelike touches. Friendly innkeepers live on site and couldn't have been more accommodating. We asked for ice and were also offered bottled water gratis. Hot chocolate, tea and coffee in the room, which is equipped with microwave and fridge. Way, way above the competition.

I stayed twice because this is such a nice place. Rooms are quiet and immaculate with lots of homey touches. Lin is a lovely friendly person and goes out of her way to please. On the down side there wasn't a hair dryer (although there was a microwave and tea and coffee) and I found the queen bed a bit...

We had family come from out of state to visit my father. He lived about 2 miles from the Colony Motel. They offer Rooms at great rates. They are very clean and have a theme for each room. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Nice gift shop also. Very homey atmosphere. Would recommend in the future.

As a person who traveled extensively for business in my younger days, I might have a different set of criteria in which to evaluate a hotel: Cleanliness, good plumbing, and efficient heating and cooling. The Colony Motel was excellent at meeting my value points. My future son-in-law and I had to come to Maine to make emergency repairs to my...

What a great place to stay if you are in the area. The couple who run the hotel are as nice and attentive as all these reviews suggest. We had a room last minute for two nights- well kept, modern, immaculate and little touches that made a difference. Only negative was the coffee served in tea bags? Never saw that...

Lynn and Steve have created a wonderful surprise in Brewer. Their motel rooms are scrupulously clean and stocked with thoughtful surprises such as a refilled ice bucket and little Hershey bars for sweet dreams. Our friends and I stayed there at the start of our trip and were so happy, we're returning at the end of our trip next week....
