My husband and I cut our visit short since it is not what is advertised. Room was small, bathroom barely fits a person. Sink is in the room so little privacy afforded. You can hear people above you walking in the room so good luck with a good nights sleep. Never coming back!!!!!

Thank you for your thoughts Myrna. We certainly aim to include images and descriptions that accurately describe our facilities in all of our sources. That being said, in circumstances where guests find their accommodations are not as expected, we are happy to offer alternatives within our facility that may better fit their needs. We always want our guests to enjoy... More

We spent two night's at Brown's on beautiful Boothbay Harbor. The room was very clean and spacious and the grounds were beautiful--gorgeous flowers everywhere. There were chairs and benches all around the motel, so one could sit and watch boats in and out of the harbor. It is a lovely, picturesque setting that I wholeheartedly recommend.

Friendly motel with excellent views and lovely flowers everywhere. Right on the water with a balcony. Everyone was so nice. Only complaints were small bathroom and no privacy on decks. Would be great if they put up privacy walls! Other than that, great location and loved our stay! Restaurant was very good as well.

We stayed at the Brown's Wharf Inn for a one night get-away and we really enjoyed ourselves. The room was on the third floor and closest to the road. It was very quiet, though we had the windows closed because it was chilly and damp. Every room has its own balcony space overlooking the water. Our room had more of... More

The private decks are considered private because the have a 2x4 rail between them so you can't walk over to your neighbors although you can definitely see them. You're pretty much sitting next to them with a little piece of wood separating you. I found the description to be misleading that way. The view was nice, the lady at check... More

Great hotel and location. The employees are vwry friendly and helpful. The restaurant is as good as anything in town and the views of the harbor fantastic and probably the best if any in town. Definitely will stay there again.

I went with friends who have stayed here 10 times. All the good things they bragged about were true! The staff is very friendly and professional. The restaurant has wonderful food, except Brussels sprouts! We stayed a week and plan on longer next year. We've already made the reservation!

We stayed at Brown's Wharf Inn for one night. Part of the appeal was the low price. However, the harbor view was near the main road and the traffic noise was audible. Fortunately, they had water view rooms left, which was much quieter (and quite pretty), for $40 more per night. Note that the hot water in the sink in... More

Excellent seafood.....oysters were fresh and delicious, scallops and crusted haddock were also outstanding. The only drawback were the veggie and potato side dishes. Broccoli was overcooked and mashed potatoes were nothing special. The staff was excellent and the view is great of the harbor. We would go back again, but stay with seafood only.

We stayed at Brown's Wharf 10-11 June. Our room was clean, The Inn is across the harbor from most of the shops and restaurants, which for us was nice. The view of the sunset from our harborside room was spectacular. The staff was really nice. The breakfast was homemade, buffet style-not synthetic eggs. We would recommend Brown's Wharf Inn, it...
