The sites here are very spread out and nice trees, woods between. Quiet. They pick up your garbage. Nice pond and access to tidal water down a hill. Spots on the water are nice but not full hookup. Liked and used the shuttle into town. Good location to various sightseeing. Just remember-no charging for the bill.

I researched a bunch of places before coming here, and somewhere along the way forgot that they don't take credit cards. So we were disappointed we didn't have enough cash to spend the two days we had planned. While I understand why places sometimes don't take cards, in this day and age it is a real nuisance. That said, this... More

Shore Hills is really a nice peaceful campground. There are lots of places to walk but it is hilly. It is a quiet campground. They are pet friendly which is always nice. I wish there were more planned activities to participate in. It would also be nice for a beach or pool. It is nice they have a shuttle to... More

8 nights at Shore Hills. Warm greeting when we arrived, our site was ready for us, just perfect. Wooded, nice and level, neat gravel surface, exceptional layout, picnic table, fire ring. 3-point hookup was accessible and everything worked. They run a shuttle to Boothbay Harbor at $2/person. We noticed a LOT of Class C units in and out of our... More

This place is 5 star! We wanted a quiet, relaxed, friendly atmosphere and we got it! Very clean and accommodating. If you need anything the staff was right there with a big smile. The canoes were a lot of fun and FREE to use! When the staff rode by in a golf cart they would give you a big wave... More

On our recent trip to Maine we stayed at five different campgrounds from Bar Harbor to Kennebunk. We stayed here for two nights on our stop in Boothbay. If I could have cancelled my next stops to stay here longer I would have stayed. Nice place with large sites. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. It was an older... More

Well since we were from out of state we are always looking for WiFi campgrounds to research where we want to go and see for the time we are there. This place offered WiFi but it was very hard to get it. We did have them move us but still again we really did not get the service that we... More

Not sure what I was getting into when I booked this campground, but what a pleasant surprise. The sites are generous and well maintained. Staff was great. This is a very peaceful campground that will handle anything type of camping you have. Some wooded sites and open sites which is a nice choice. Some sites have wooded decks which is... More

My fiancé and I spent three nights here with another couple and really enjoyed the place. We loved the island and trail, it was very peaceful with a great view! The office / store was very helpful and well stocked - I had forgotten BACON! The hot showers were great. They also had a FANTASTIC band playing Saturday night, The... More

We parked our RV and had a great weekend despite 1 rainy day. Close to BB Harbor, the botanical gardens, and many other attractions. A quiet park with friendly staff and very clean grounds. A great place to stay.
