This was such a wonderful change from our usual hotel stays! Laurence could not have been more gracious, from the homemade cookies and banana bread waiting for us in the afternoon, to the personal tour of his kitchen. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever been served, homemade jam, warm scones, homemade bread and granola....not to mention...

Austin's is a late 1800's Maine home, centrally located in the town of Bethel. The rooms are nicely decorated in the Victorian style of the period, yet the feel of the place is very relaxing and comfortable. Best of all is the hospitality of Lawrence, the owner, who is very attentive to his guests.. Breakfast had several choices, and was...

We enjoyed our stay at Holidae House for our ski weekend at Sunday River. The host, Laurence was very accommodating as well as entertaining. We loved the breakfast with individual tables located downstairs and breakfast is served on your schedule. We left with some homemade jam. This is a perfect Maine get-away which we will return. We loved our stay here on our ski trip to Sunday River. We got caught in a snow storm and didn't arrive from Boston until 11:30, but our keys were waiting for us with a note of welcome. The accommodations were comfortable and relaxing. We met Laurence in the morning where he was cooking with his wife. They made us...

We had the pleasure of staying at Austin's Holidae House this past weekend. We were in town to ski at Sunday River in nearby Newry. We loved the location of the hotel- it was on Main Street in Bethel and about a five minute drive to the mountain...perfect! Our host, Laurence, was wonderful! Upon our arrival, we were greeted with...

Undoubtedly the best B&B my family and I have ever had the pleasure to stay. It's just down the road and around the corner from Sunday River Ski Mountain. It is centrally located in the village of Betel Maine. There are some very good restaurants, shopping boutiques, a video rental store and an awesome crunchy coffee shop just near by....

We stayed there on our honeymoon. We did not request it, but because they knew it was our honeymoon they had a chilled bottle of champagne waiting in our room. Positively the best B&B I have ever stayed at. Their customer service and commitment to detail exceeds the service for platinum customers at the best hotels. The breakfast was excellent....

We've visited Lawrence and Marcia every time we make an overnight trip to Sunday River for a ski snowboard getaway. Walking in, you immediately feel at home and the atmosphere allows for you to mingle with other guests or escape to a comfortable quiet room. Breakfast can't be beat, and the ginger apricot scones alone are worth the drive! Holidae...

My Family, either my daughter and I or she and her Dad have stayed at least 4 times this winter and absolutely love it. The beautifully decorated rooms are clean and comfortable. I've had a good night's sleep each time. The room was warm and the down comforters are a nice touch. Breakfast is served from 7am, the perfect time...

We stayed at Austin's New Year's Eve 2010-2011. A wonderful stay. Laurence was very accomodating. Our friend for instance could not retrieve internet, and Laurence offered his private quarters (the internet was for work - otherwise we wouldn't have intruded!) The decor was beautifully victorian, and the village setting made for a nice stroll to dinner. In the morning we...
