Beware there is no television in any rooms or common areas. I'm not a TV junkie but watching the news and relaxing a bit before turning in for the night is something I like to do. The NO television is not fully disclosed on the Room descriptions in the web site.

My wife and I closed the Crocker Pond House on Feb 23rd after 18 years of welcoming guests to our "Quiet retreat with beauty inside and out" as part of the quiet we have always stated on our website that we have no TV's. In those 18 years this is only the 2nd time it has been an issue for...

We were so blessed to have chosen Crocker Pond House as our first B & B experience ever. It definitely set the bar for all future experiences extremely high! We spent a week with Stuart and Ellen in their unbelievably unique and beautifully crafted home. It was the absolute BEST! We were blown away by their genuine hospitality and our...

We spent 4 nights at the Crocker Pond House and absolutely loved it! Stuart and Ellen were wonderful and made us feel so welcome in their beautiful home. They made us a delicious and bountiful breakfast each morning. They were happy to give us advice on places to hike, explore or drive as well as the best places to eat....

Cons- when we arrived, we walked in and no one was to be found. We wandered around a bit calling out "hello" and finally Stuart came. He was less than welcoming. A man of few words. The website touts "all rooms are south facing with unobstructed views of the mountains". This is an outright lie. There are NO mountain views....

Our family spent a week here and we would go back in one red hot second! Ellen and Stuart Crocker make you feel instantly at home. You should take time to talk with both of them. Do explore the expansive 50 acres that the house sits on. The house is located about 5 minutes from the center of town in...

It soon became obvious that we had discovered a very special place when we stayed at Crocker Pond House (CPH). We were summertime visitors and wanted to incorporate into our family holiday an experience in small town America. CPH is a beautiful property nestled within a wooded cove with garden and pond. The house welcomes you with warmth and a...

My husband found the Crocker Pond House while planning for a recent ski trip. What a gem this place is! Everyone who has stayed here is lucky that Ellen and Stuart Crocker have opened their lovely home to all of us. The house is gorgeous, so serene and has so much character. Just like the wonderful owners. We came away...

This is a beautiful B&B! We were traveling thru New England looking at fall colours and were lucky enough to stay at Crocker Pond House! The house is lovely and comfortable and Deb(who was housesitting for the owners) was so friendly and helpful! The breakfast she made us before we left was outstanding! I wish we could have stayed more...

We were looking for one-of-kind experience and we got it. The house abounds with loving details and the surroundings are beautiful. The hosts were gracious, there was a terrific library, with some great art and photography books, and the hearty breakfast was something to look forward to. We were attending a wedding at Sunday River, and loved having a getaway...

We stayed at CPH for 1 night and we were very pleased with the place. It is a beautiful house nested in the hills of Bethel, very quiet and quaint. Our rooms were in loft style which I believe it could sleep up to 4 people with very comfortable bed. Common areas also well equipped with books, games, comfortable living...
