Two of us stayed at the Mill Hill Inn March 2015. The house is a well remodeled old barn. We specially enjoyed nice linens, comfortable bed, conveniently located electrical outlets, the magic spirit of the house.

We had a very nice experience at the Mill Hill Inn. We came in late on a Monday night and they were extremely accommodating, leaving our room open with the lights on :) The home-made breakfast the next morning was delicious and a great send off before a day of skiing. The inn is only ~10 to Sunday River which...

We had found and checked out the Mill Hill Inn last fall, so when we all arrived for a perfect weekend of skiing in late February, there were no surprises. We had booked a single room for the two of us and the two suites for our two boys and their families, and Woody and Lee had kindly unlocked the...

Lee and Woody helped me host a surprise birthday party for my husband. Our 30 guests had such a great night! Everyone loved the atmosphere, food & service! I really enjoyed working with Lee and Woody and was especially impressed with how gracious and flexible they were throughout the planning process and during the party. If you and your guests...

We rented out a couple rooms in the Inn for a family ski trip to Sunday River and the weekend was awesome. Woody and Lee are so accommodating and friendly. They treat everyone like family. The Inn is very clean and well maintained. Breakfast is always good. I suggest room 7 or 8 if you're traveling with more than 2...

This was my second time here at Mill Hill and again, was a fantastic stay. Woody is an unbelievable host with unrivaled hospitality. His breakfasts are top notch and the accommodations are clean and cozy. Our family was up for a ski trip, he is roughly 12 minutes from Sunday River. He runs the wood stove all day to keep...

We had our Halloween wedding at the Mill Hill Inn and it could not have been more perfect! The Inn was exactly the kind of place we were looking for, charming and inviting! We had a tent outside on the lawn, and the ceremony under a great tree right on the property. Our guests absolutely loved relaxing in the Great...

We really enjoyed our stay in Mill Hill Inn. We took the smallest room because only it was available. The price was good and the room was lovely, really. Lee & Woody Hughes were nice and lovely hosts and it was fun to drink with them a glass of wine before dinner and chat about this and that. Dinner which...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Mill Hill Inn, originally a barn built in the 1870s, was first converted into a private home in 1948 and then into a B & B in 1977. Lee and Woody Hughes purchased the inn in April of 2010 and renovated this wonderful structure from top to bottom during that summer. The newly renamed Mill Hill Inn opened its doors September 9, 2010. The inn is located just off the historic district on the north end of the Bethel Common, on a secluded acre and a half. This private setting is beautifully landscaped with both ornamental, vegetable, and herb gardens, producing food and flowers for the inn. The leveled lawn space adjacent to the front door area provides ample space for a 30' x 50' tent, suitable for weddings and private affairs. The Studio Bistro & Bar offer a unique menu and a full bar, served in the Great Room as well as in our dining room. The inn has six rooms, two of which are suites. All rooms come with new king sized beds, all cotton bedding, and private baths. The suites provide guests with kitchens and can sleep six to eight people. Rent one room or the entire inn, which can comfortably sleep twenty-two guests. PRICES: STARTING FROM $109 - $119, DOUBLE OCCUPANCY, SUITES - $139, DOUBLE OCCUPANCY ... more   less
