Warm and welcoming! Breakfast is great, and coffee is wonderful! We will be back again soon! Woody and Lee are wonderful hosts who will help you with whatever you need. We added an additional person to our room with no problem.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at this inn. Neither of us had ever stayed at a B&B and we loved the cozy feeling we got the moment we opened the door to the property. When making the reservation Lee was very helpful and friendly on the phone. It was a totally different experience than walking into a...

My 13 y/o son and I set out on a skiing adventure to Bethel/Sunday River. We decided to stay at the Mill Hill Inn based on reviews and social media. We were not disappointed! The Mill Hill in was wonderful. From the moment we arrived for our 2 day 1 night stay the owners Woody and Lee and their staff...

We had a wonderful family vacation over the holidays at Mill Hill Inn. The room we booked was spacious and common areas were warm and festive. Woody and Lee were incredibly welcoming and we especially enjoyed being able to partake in delicious, hearty breakfasts and scrumptious dinners. We hope to return!

We enjoyed all aspects of our stay from the cozy rooms and central area to the great breakfast and dinners. The hosts go out of there way to make sure all is perfect. Looking forward to our next stay. We very much enjoyed the other guests and found the location convenient to Sunday River and downtown Bethel.

We had our Christmas Eve dinner in this charming inn and the food, the hospitality and the ambience were perfect. The small plates are fun, inventive, and very tasty and the whole family had a great time. Very nice wine list as well. Can't wait to ge back.

If you're going to stay in Bethel, I can't think of a better place to be than the Mill Hill Inn. Lee and Woody could not have been more accommodating, and the room was really wonderful. Woody said that it was the smallest room, but it was large enough for my wife and I, and the bed was large and...

A very enjoyable stay at this super relaxed inn. Lee and Woody are great hosts who gave us good advice re. restaurants and drives. Our room was very comfortable - particularly the bed and there is an unusually large amount of communal space in which to relax.

Stayed here on a shoulder season motorcycle trip. Owners were friendly and low key. Room was comfy, cozy and a good value. The small room with ensuite bath was perfect for our needs for one night. There are larger rooms and the one with a full kitchen would be great for a longer stay during ski season.

This is a very down to earth lovely B and B. The hosts are wonderful and the home-made breakfast is hardy, delicious and served on dishes made by the host! We will be coming back for certain. The grounds are lovely and it is a perfect place to relax.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Mill Hill Inn, originally a barn built in the 1870s, was first converted into a private home in 1948 and then into a B & B in 1977. Lee and Woody Hughes purchased the inn in April of 2010 and renovated this wonderful structure from top to bottom during that summer. The newly renamed Mill Hill Inn opened its doors September 9, 2010. The inn is located just off the historic district on the north end of the Bethel Common, on a secluded acre and a half. This private setting is beautifully landscaped with both ornamental, vegetable, and herb gardens, producing food and flowers for the inn. The leveled lawn space adjacent to the front door area provides ample space for a 30' x 50' tent, suitable for weddings and private affairs. The Studio Bistro & Bar offer a unique menu and a full bar, served in the Great Room as well as in our dining room. The inn has six rooms, two of which are suites. All rooms come with new king sized beds, all cotton bedding, and private baths. The suites provide guests with kitchens and can sleep six to eight people. Rent one room or the entire inn, which can comfortably sleep twenty-two guests. PRICES: STARTING FROM $109 - $119, DOUBLE OCCUPANCY, SUITES - $139, DOUBLE OCCUPANCY ... more   less
