I travel by motorcycle and look for TripAdvisor 3/4 star rated 50/60's era motels within walking distance of restaurants. I've stayed in many and have found the TA reviews reliable. For me, this was a true 5 star find right in the middle of Bethel. It's older and the exterior needs a little refreshing. However, my room (25) was in... More

We stayed for 5 nights at Ruth and Kevin. Very nice people who run the place with all their hart! Do not look further if you are staying in Bethel. The rooms are very clean and the coffee is very good. Fantastic value for your money! Just go there!

My husband and I attended a wedding in Bethel at the end of May 2016. We decided not to stay at the wedding venue and called the Bethel Village Motel instead. We spoke with Ruthie on the phone to make our reservation and she was so pleasant. We looked forward to staying at the motel right from the start. We... More

Our second stay - immaculate, friendly, perfect location, such a deal! We stayed at a B&B in the past, but never again. The Bethel Village Inn is a little dated, but it's so clean that the old school furnishings just seem kitschy.

I stopped in looking for a spot to stay in before hiking and am glad I did. Very clean bathroom, well maintained and nicely decorated room, great toiletries, beautiful garden, wonderful friendly owners, I was quite pleasantly surprised by my experience here and definitely recommend this most reasonably priced motel.

Just stumbled upon this adorable little shop in Bethel today as I decided to take a walk while my kids skied. Not only do they have the nicest selection of trendy clothes at reasonable prices but the owner Ruthie and her sidekick Kevin were the nicest most friendly people you would ever want to meet. Couldn't pull myself away from... More

Stayed on night here over a weekend trip to Sunday River. This is an old fashion place, no online booking. Price was $76 including tax for the night. Room was basic but clean, brand new shower in the bathroom. Room was warm upon arrival. Bed was comfortable. Location is in walking distance to stores and restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised... We stopped in Bethel for the night after hiking in NH on the way to Acadia and this motel fit the bill. We had a room on the 2nd floor, on the corner. We could sit on the porch by the flowers and relax there. The grocery store was next door, and we got food from the restaurant down the... More

Upon arrival we found the overall look of the motel to be very attractive with the colourful array of flowers and the unique looking building. As soon as we entered the office we knew we would be staying here because it felt welcoming, warm and homely. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a large refrigerator, and decent bathroom facilities. Ruth's personality... More

I love Ruthie's place we have been a regular there for the last two seasons. Right in town, trolley service to the mountain no need to drive. In the evening you can hit the local bars all within walking distance. She is the nicest lady you could meet.
