We stayed in the Elizabeth room which was comfortable and pleasantly decorated with paintings and antiques. The very large bathroom with a chest of drawers is used as the clothes closet which works fine. The breakfast was composed of fruit, baked goods, toast, and homemade cheese and tomato strata one morning, and spinach Florentine eggs the next. Both delicious. Would... More

We had a wonderful stay at the Pryor House. Everything from the Tall Chimney room to Gwenda's great breakfasts gave us a true sense of welcome. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood of well kept homes. And the main entrance hall with its beautiful staircase, well you don't see that every day. Will be back again.

From the moment we arrived at this B&B we felt welcomed and comfortable. We stayed in the Captain's Room. Spacious and charming, we got a great night's sleep. The heart and soul of this B&B is Gwenda. What a sweet and gracious lady! And she cooks a delicious egg florentine breakfast. They have a beautiful rescue greyhound who really enjoys... More

Charming and historic, the Pryor House made for a great grown-up getaway (we left the teens behind). Proprietor Gwenda welcomed us warmly, and her breakfast (homemade frittata with bacon and toast, plus fruit and delish jam muffins) was excellent. Captain's Room with king bed and private bath has a view of the river. We walked to dinner at Kennebec Tavern.... More

Grand double staircase. Privacy and luxury - but not too much. Our room had a deck. Great bed. Good breakfast and lovely host. No complaints. Oh, great location to have dinner at Solo Bistro with a reservation. And an evening stroll to watch the moon rise at the water.

My wife and I just completed a brief stay in Bath on our way up the Maine coast. The Pryor House did not disappoint. This three bedroom B&B is a beautiful two century old home overlooking the water. As with any B&B, the stay is only as good as the host. Gwenna was superb! She welcomed us warmly upon check... More

Such a beautiful home and the extra touches to make guests comfortable and enjoy their stay. Little treats that the owner makes, fresh breakfast every day and coffee anytime. The reading room- it is all so elegantly done and the conversation and owner is just a beautiful person. I would stay here everytime I traveled.

We stayed in the Captain's room. It was a large, and lovely room with a king bed and private bath. It was very clean and comfortable. The house is nearly 200 years old and very charming. Breakfast was delicious and we really enjoyed chatting wtih Gwenda, the proprietor. I would definitely stay here again.
