We happened upon Bath and are so glad we did! This historic-house B&B was fantastic: very lovely, extremely quiet (it's located on a peaceful back street of Bath, yet is only a 5-minute walk to the center), and elegant/tasteful rather than kitschy as so many B&Bs unfortunately are... Our fantastic hostess, Amy, was never in the least intrusive, yet always... More

This B&B is meticulous, every public space, the garden/patio space, and the room. Décor is very interesting, eclectic, lovely. There are just 4 bedrooms so crowding anywhere does not happen. The breakfast room could seat all guests at once, or if different breakfast times are chosen, each separately. We stayed in the Downeaster, a one night stop on our trip... More

We have stayed in lots of B&B's, and this one is a stand out. The owners, Amy and Mark are friendly and personable, but extremely professional. The house is beautifully restored and creatively decorated and furnished with lots of antiques and interesting pieces. It is SPOTLESS! The breakfast was homemade and delicious, and the service was comparable to a five... More

recently stayed for 3 nights at this wonderful b&b in a wonderful part of the world. the innkeepers, amy and mark, are knowledgeable and extremely amiable, as are their two rare breed pups. the breakfasts are all homemade, including the granola, and are beyond yummy. the rooms are lovely and all of the shampoos, conditioners, and lotions are eco friendly.... From the moment we stepped through the door and were greeted by Amy we felt completely at home. She gave us a tour of the common areas, assuring us that we should feel free to enjoy all areas. The room was beautiful. It is apparent that Amy is quite talented with her decorating and all of the little touches made... More

Modernized enough to be comfortable (bathroom tiled & fixtures work well, window a/c, found enough outlets for charging phones, wifi worked, etc.); comfortable bed; excellent breakfast; off-street parking; pleasant host. We didn't spend much time in Bath, but noticed that there are a number of beautiful old homes. Some day we'll get back for another look.

I can't tell you how much I loved my stay at the Benjamin Packard House. Our room was cozy and delightful, our breakfast was delicious and prepared with the utmost care (everything from the granola to the breakfast quiche was homemade), and the B&B was just beautifully decorated - it felt as if I had stepped into a Pottery Barn... We had come to Bath to experience that 'close, hometown' feel of Heritage Days. We stayed in the Garden room. It was unusually warm for Maine, and we appreciated the pitcher of ice cold water in our room every evening when we returned from a day of festivities. It was an easy walk to downtown Bath, were many activities take... More

Was there on my own and loved it. Rooms were very comfortable. Walls are thin, but the place is a very old, historic home, so Im not complaining. had I been on a romantic trip the walls may have been an issue. The owners were sweet and breakfast was great. I was very happy to stay there. The location was... More

Spent time here last summer while on a family trip along the Maine coast based on other reviews, and what a great choice. The place is warm and inviting, and is run by two of the nicest innkeepers we've come across (three, actually, if you include their very friendly dog). Breakfast each morning is fantastic, and gets you ready for... More
