We had a great experience here! Breakfast every morning was beyond delicious. We were served in a lovely courtyard behind the house. Fruit came from the garden or local farms and sausage was locally sourced. The room was immaculate and bed was very comfortable. Mark and Amy were the hosts with the most! They shared information about where to eat, what attractions to visit and they were gracious to share recipes for their amazing food. It was like visiting old friends.
Our visit was an A+. The innkeepers truly enjoy sharing their home. The garden is beautiful. The room was so comfortable. We slept to well and woke to the yummy aroma of breakfast. Breakfast was outstanding! The town of Bath is quaint with beautiful homes.
Amy and her husband are the perfect host you could expect in such place… very present when you need them to be but super discrete the whole time. Every room, every detail has been well thought up with elegance and taste to your morning breakfast table and what comes into your plate. Amy is willing to converse and provide you with any information you may need upon request but again remains super discrete. They make the whole experience so homy that you don’t even want to leave and can’t wait to go back there. Congratulations!
Lovely & restful overnight stay in Bath. Welcoming, clean, & beautifully appointed. Unlike some BnBs that collect & fill every space w/kitsch & clutter, Amy has deftly accented the decor w/just the right amount period perfect pieces. Small touches like turn down service, a pitcher of ice cold water & some small treats awaited us upon returning from dinner. Breakfast was plentiful, hot & delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy more amenities. We will return.
My husband and I specifically chose this B & B because of its historical connection to Benjamin Packard, shipbuilder. It did not disappoint. Amy and Mark are a great team who have a very relaxed but attentive approach to innkeeping. We spent four nights in comfortable and quiet surroundings.
Amy and Mark were gracious hosts - their B&B is very charming and very clean. Amy checked our vaccination cards, which I appreciated. We walked to dinner in town, and then watched TV in their lovely den. Breakfast was delicious on their patio. Our room was a suite and very comfy. Highly recommend. The Bath Maritime Museum was fascinating - don't miss the boat tour.
We stayed 5 days in July with Amy and Mark. The breakfasts were homemade, scrumptious, varied(oatmeal pancakes) and we enjoyed eating in the outside garden area in the mornings. The room was very comfortable and had space to move around. Lovely firm bed. Great shower! The decor is inviting, lots of attention to detail and plenty of places to sit and read or just be. Amy was accommodating and friendly with our various needs. This is a great value, which is hard to come by. Thank you for this respite in Maine. We will try to return.
We stayed Oct 3, 2019. Everything was perfect even Amy & Mark (briefly while i was watching tv). When I made the previous review I had been confused wiith another B&B that we stayed in Kittery. The hosts were very hospitable and as I said nothing more we could ask for except for a few more days there. Amy & Mark, if you read my other review please forgive my oversight.
Everything about this inn is perfection. We stayed in the Garden Suite and it was wonderfully roomy and comfortable. The bathroom was small, but very well appointed and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Amy the innkeeper was friendly and helpful, but never intrusive. The inn is on a quiet street, a short walk from town. We had drinks at Byrne's Irish Pub and dinner at Bruno's Pizza. We didn't really have time to sit and relax in the inn's gardens; maybe next time. And we do hope to return some day!
We were in Bath, Maine, for a wedding over Labor Day weekend. This B & B was perfectly located for all our events, in the historic part of town. The breakfast was wonderful, cooked to order. The hosts were very accommodating. There is off-street parking, wi-fi, tourist materials, newspapers in the AM.
