This was a great quiet and safe way to vacation. Our hosts Donna and Les were nice people. The cottage was a bit dated and could have been better cared for (screens broken, sills full of bugs) but the little touches made it worthwhile. Firewood for your fire pit, grill and literally your own backyard to watch the most incredible sunset ever!

This was the cream of the crop, out of all the places we stayed on our trip to Maine. The view was absolutely amazing our hosts were very accommodating and helpful. We arrived just before a Nor-Easter came in and lost power that night, however we were very well taken care of. I definitely recommend this place, the storm just made it even better.

We enjoyed two smaller cottages for several years. Sunsets are spectacular, meals in the tiny kitchen with windows all around...great place to get away. Gas fireplace takes the chill off and the bed is comfy. The family is welcoming but respects your privacy.

Sea 🌊 Escape Cottages is a relaxing location to unwind from your busy life. I enjoy taking dozens (according to my husband 100’s) of sunset pictures with Mt. Washington in the back round. The island is beautiful, has hiking trails, locations to rent boats, as well many restaurants to eat at- if you don’t feel like cooking in your cottage. They have a boat they sail almost daily. They do their best to accommodate their customers. I have been enjoying my vacation here for many years. Take a look & check it out.... below are pictures of what you can see around the island. Cribstone Bridge connects Orr’s & Bailey Islands together. Seen below. The schooner is the ‘Alert’ you can sail on & further enjoy the sights in the island .
