There were three adults and a 13 and 6 year olds .there was something for all of us to do. Cabin 9 was open twins beds upstairs and king and twin downstairs. Beds were comfortable, linens were soft and clean (no stains nor raggedy), big soft towels kitchen had everything thing we needed, ours was a side porch awesome early morning was ducks in pond. Great place to stay if looking for a low energy, quiet, calming vacation with plenty things to do Wildwood is your place.
Missing Essentials in the Kitchens, Poor Timing for Preparing the Resort for the Event
A family member had her wedding at Wildwood. The wedding venue was beautiful. The venue itself included everything you might want. However, while we were there decorating for the rehearsal there were workers there power washing the building and doing other jobs that should have been done the day before. Also, the kitchens were not stocked with essentials; dish soap, dish cloths or towels, no oven mitts or hot pads, no paper towels, no plastic wrap or foil. This was a major inconvenience and would have been a slight expense for the resort when you consider the cost of renting the venue.
My family and I went on a trip and absolutely loved it ! The atmosphere was amazing and the staff was so friendly and patient. They have numerous pools and one was amazing for kids. It was ankle deep and they loved it, the pools are never crowded and we even got one pool to our self one day. The activities are so neat and fun. This is the best place to vacation with kids. My family of 16 went and we were all in the same area so all we had to do was walk up the stairs and we were all together. We are making this into a yearly trip for all of us and even add other family members next time !! I recommend this to anyone for any occasion, weather is be for couples , big families, or business. It was amazing ! The cabins sleeps many people comfortably and very spacious.
We love hearing that our guests enjoyed their stay at Wildwood! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such an amazing review. Our #1 priority is guest satisfaction and we are thrilled to get your feedback. We look forward to your next trip and hope it will be even better. Thanks again.

These are just a few of the ADA violations we observed.... 1-Bathrooms have no handrails/handles for toilets nor bathtubs. My mom stayed in a cabin by herself but couldn't shower nor bathe because there were no handrails. The toilet had no assistance bars. My sister's husband is an amputee and their bathroom was just like my mom's. My family (husband/children/grandchildren) stayed in a large 8 bedroom/8.5 bathroom cabin and there was 1 toilet in that entire 7,500 sq ft cabin with disability accommodations and that was only a toilet. 2-Entire resort is full of roots disabling people who struggle to walk. There are absolutely no smooth walkways whatsoever for guests to transition from the road or their golf carts to the cabins. 3-There are no wheelchair accessible ramps anywhere on the grounds. 4-There are no listings on the website, which is the method most people use, for disabled people to identify whether or not this resort is a good fit based off of the cabin descriptions and there are over 30 cabins! Specifically in our cabin... --Dirty floors throughout --Faulty sofa cushions causing my grandson to hurt his head --Rebar sticking up out of the ground causing a hazardous area --Wood trim on interior post was detached leaving splintered wood and nails exposed for potential injuries --Moldy shower curtain --Moldy smell in bedroom --A/C in main part of cabin couldn't keep up with the heat --Website description of kitchen states "commercial" but only residential grade appliances are present …

The water park is ok but pricey. I stayed across from the water park at the RV park. The RV park itself is ok. Pads are semi level and close together. My biggest problem was the lack of directions to the office where you have to check in. I’m a very forgiving person and have plenty of patience with people. When we checked in…there at the counter was one of the rudest and unpleasant person I have dealt with in a very long time. She was asked a question by a friend about her golf cart rental and the young lady told her I don’t fool with them, if you have question ask her( pointing to an older lady) . She then turned to my wife and I rolled her eyes and said, what y’all need?? My wife being the saint she is replied baby we need to check in to our RV spot. Without skipping a beat she barked at my wife, how you going to pay for it??? 😡We will never come here again. San Miguel park is 200 feet past Wildwood RV… we will be staying there next time.…

Absolutely loved it. So much stuff to do for kids and family. So stunning. We enjoyed this visit very much. Only complaints the AC couldn’t really keep up and it was hot in the rooms and the water park should be a little more cheaper for guests. Other than that will definitely will be returning

We had a wonderful time. Cabin 13 is so roomy and has a beautiful wrap around porch with plenty of rocking chairs. A beautiful view of the lake and fishing pier. (A couple of the beds have very firm mattresses just FYI) There are so many fun things to do. We caught lots of fish from the pier every morning and afternoon and during the day we enjoyed the pools and paddling around the ponds on the cute peddle boats. My 12 year old son absolutely loved the kayaks. The petting zoo was so cute. Everything included with the cabin rental price. Highly recommend renting the golf cart. We used it all day. Good quality pots and pans and bakeware. Plenty of utensils and dishes.

Stayed in cabin 19. It was huge and VERY clean. Wife was very pleased. AC worked awesome. Nice and cool and great to hang out at night after a long day outside. Kitchen was enormous. Place was easily big enough to house two families. Porches were big. Towels and bedding were clean and fresh. Their staff was excellent. Ponds were stocked with fish. The Kayaks and pedal boats were a hit. We were centrally located in the park and had great views. The Pools were nice. Local water park was nice. Mainly for little kids now but they are expanding as I type this and will have things for larger kids and adults. It will be very nice when done. $20 a person if you stayed at the resort. We ate at two restaurants while there. El Patio Mexican (get the 4x4 appetizer and fajitas) and Fisherman's Galley (Philly Cheesesteak was the best I've ever had). Golf carts were fun for the kids to cruise around and to haul me to the ponds and dock to fish. The Pond behind the convention center had a TON of fish. We went through some crickets. Smoked them. Crickets and Shiners are available at the local shell gas station a few miles away. Boat launch was plenty big to accommodate your boats. We are already looking at dates in the fall to go back. …

Wildwood Resort was a great 3 days of rest, relaxation and fishing. We didn’t catch a lot, but it was fun trying. I can’t say enough great things about the resort. It’s AWESOME, in the country and just an all around beautiful place to stay. They have over 30 cabins to stay in and also a huge, gorgeous building you can rent for parties, weddings, etc. Our cabin (#25 this time) was immaculate and the bed was so comfortable I wanted to buy the mattress and bring it home with me. They have 2 pools inside the resort as well as an area where kids can see emus, donkeys, cows, goats, peacocks, ducks and swans. They have 2 really nice ponds that you can paddle around in on some awesome paddle boats also. They are also opening a really nice adventure (water) park on Memorial Day weekend. It’s located just outside the main gate of the resort and will be open to the public. It’s an awesome area to spend a few days with the family, with things to do for everyone. I’m already planning our next trip there!…

We visited Wildwood in October 2020. This resort was breathtaking! It was serene and peaceful. The staff, stellar!! They were patient and went above and beyond to help make this special for Him. Our cottage was beautiful. It was very clean and neat. We bought our essentials, but didn't really have to. This much needed get away was on point for us. I am a little particular but definitely no need to be when visiting Wildwood Resort in Zwolle💖. We can't wait to go back, as this is our go to when we just want a close get away, rest and relaxation.
