I followed the reviews of others and we booked a night here while we were traveling through. They were very pleasant to deal with and to make a reservation for the night. They appear to be very organized and everything was clean. It was great to be so close to Natchez, MS for visiting and dinner.
I stayed at River View for a month. Highly recommend! They keep the place spotless and the staff go above and beyond. Great location, reasonable rates. I would suggest getting one of the shaded spots if you visit during the summer. That Louisiana sun is brutal.
While this is a NICE PARK, unfortunately we had to Endure VERY RUDE RVers next to us. Apparently, they had a HUGE party and had this VERY BRIGHT LIGHT stationed outside their RV. And of course the Light was postioned just outside our Bedroom Window! After Midnight, the light was still on and remained on. Even with our DARK SHADES the light still glared through. I have NO RESPECT for RVers who don't consider their actions and common courtesy for other RVers, adjacent to them! And of course this was a groupl of about 8 Campers, so we could not complain to management about it, knowing the attitude of PEOPLE today, we NO DOUBT would have had our RV Damaged by one of these (expletive deleted) People in the group. Management should have been patrolling the park and had these people extinguish this light for the evening!…
Located across the river from Natchez in the town of Vidalia. It is a five minute drive to downtown Natchez. Perfect for visiting the local sites. This is a very clean and well organized park . it got crowded on the weekend but otherwise was ok.
We had never heard of this campground and it simply incredible. It is right along the banks of the Mississippi River, just across the bridge from Natchez, Mississippi. The office, with bathhouse, pool and hot tub are in the middle of the campground. There are several parallel rows of sites, but we were fortunate enough to be in site 105, right by the river. Our view allowed us to see paddle boats and freighters going by. We spent so much time, both inside and sitting outside simply watching the front row seat of the river. The rows behind us did not have the unobstructed views. If you do plan a visit, study the site map to choose one adjacent to the river. Sites 105-111 are the best views. The sites have concrete pads and full hookups. The only thing needing improvement are the dated showers in the bathhouse. There is a paved walkway right along the river that goes all the way into town. We are already trying to find a time to go back and spend at least a week here, it’s that nice.…
This is a good park when visiting the Natchez area. Within 5 minutes you can be across the river and in town. Nice pull-through spaces with a view of the Mississippi river. Concrete pads, paved 1.5-mile walking path along the river. Nice bathhouse, laundry and pool. Very well maintained. No cable TV and Wi Fi was not great but we could use it of email. No major network TV available over the air. Our Verizon service was good.
Large park right on the Mississippi River. Gravel pad, picnic table. 4 Private bathrooms with shower. Dog park, playground. Walmart, grocery and hardware close. Office staff very nice. Camp store. Clean grounds, daily trash pick up. Nice laundry, ice avail. Right across river from Natchez, Ms. Will definitely come back.
Very nice park, convenient to Natchez,MS . Good variety of stores and gas stations in Vidalia. Staff is very nice and accommodating This was our second visit and just as before a good time. WiFi seems a bit weak. The walk along the Mississippi River is really nice. The sites to the north of office offer more shade.I definitely recommend and will return.
We limped in here on a Sunday afternoon with some mechanical problems with our towing vehicle. This is a very clean RV park right next to the 'Mighty Mississippi River'. Nice concrete walkway along the river dike. Bathrooms were clean and adequate. The management was very cooperative and worked with us as we took care of our mechanical problems and ended up stay 2 extra nights. Located just across the River from Natchez, Mississippi. Fenced in dog park.
The location, staff and most amenities of this park did not disappoint. The WI FI though is a huge issue for someone like myself who works on the road. I had to spend a fortune on my hot spot which was so disappointing. Another major issue for us was the vacant car that parked right up next to our RV on our spot- on the door side ... That was a major turn off.
