We stumbled onto this little jewel on our way home to Texas from NOLA. The food was outstanding!!! Beingets were delicious!! My only complaint is that they are 300 miles from where I live. My husband said looks like we found a great reason for a weekend trip!!! Cutest little village setting and Coffee House Restaurant!! We will definitely be... More

Thoughtfully decorated with antiques, a gem in the rough! Cabins may look simple from outside...but oh so cute inside! Secluded and quiet cabins with a historic background. Well worth the stop if passing by!

We only stayed for one night, but it was great! Very peaceful and relaxing. Theresa was great talking too, very nice. The cottage, #1, was very charming and very welcoming. Absolutely loved the rockers on the front porch! Sitting on the porch and listening and watching the wildlife, couldn't have asked for a better afternoon. Very much looking forward to... More

It feels like you are stepping back in time in these sweet cottages ... except a lot better! Theresa greeted me with friendly advice on the cottage and the surrounding area. The cottage I stayed in (number 8) was spacious and comfortable, and the AC worked beautifully, a relief in Louisiana in July. Yet even in the heat the rocking... More

We had two wonderful nights in one of these peaceful cottages. Beautiful, unique cottages contained everything we required including a washing machine and tumble dryer. Very clean. Had a lovely breakfast each morning in the Coffee House. Will visit again.

From the outside the cottages look quite plain but when you go in they are a revalation, Plenty of space, lovely individual furnishings and a comfortable bed. Added to the quiet but convienient location just a short walk back to the Cajun Village for breakfast- also excellent. We only stayed for 1 night but would have happily stayed for more.... More

We stayed here for one evening. The owner was very nice. It was great because it was not the cookie cutter hotel which we were trying to avoid this trip. It had character. If you like antiques, you definitely want to stay here! The breakfast was awesome and the wifi worked great!

Theresa kindly fit us in for a two night last minute reservation, even though I woke her up early on a Sunday morning! Due to unusual circumstances, she only had a two bedroom cabin available but offered it to us for the price of a one bedroom. It was adorable. All the furnishings were perfectly matched to the charmingly restored... More

We took a spontaneous road trip to the Cajun Village over Spring Break. We had originally planned to go to New Orleans but decided the St Patricks Day parade crowds were not what we were after...so after some on line browsing....found the Cajun Village. LOVED IT! Very clean and comfortable. Loved the Coffee Shop and little shops next door. Got... More

“No vending or ice machines. Come prepared with bottled water and snacks. No shampoos/lotions or other toiletries. Did not see a hair dryer. No big screen TV. If you rely on TV for nighttime entertainment....come anyway and break your bad habit with a good book, you will love it.”
