The staff was nice, but didn't go out of their way to accomodate you. They live in part of the house, and really didn't pay much attention to you, unless you needed something. Lots and Lots of cats. One cat jumped up on the breakfast table to assist with breakfast. Gross! I couldn't eat my breakfast. I kept wondering what... More

I meant to post this a while ago but doubt that much has changed - this place was so terrible that even though we paid for two nights, we checked out early and got a new hotel for the last night without a refund. When we originally booked this, the St. Francisville Inn was the #1 B&B/Inn so I am... More

RUN RUN RUN away from this place!!!! At least that's what we did. I took my fiancee' to the St. Francisville Inn for what I hoped to be a romantic birthday weekend. We've stayed at B&Bs before and absolutely love them. Let's just say that in the first night I killed 3 cockroaches in the room and bathroom, the room... More

I have stayed at the Inn several times and each stay as been awesome. Pat & Laurie & also daughter Darcy are the kindest and friendliest people I have ever met. They are always so welcoming and will stop what they are doing to assist and answer questions. Working in a city makes my visits major time out for me.... More

Spent three nights here with a group of over 24 friends who gather annually for a long weekend of nature outings. We filled the place to their maximum capacity and still received great service. Breakfast was out of this world. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. The courtyard provided a fantastic place for our group to hang out privately, but... More

We should have looked at ALL of the previous reviews before making a reservation. The glowing reviews are divorced from reality regarding condition and "charm". The main house has lots of architectural interest, though the rooms are in a servants quarters type "L" at the rear. But the entire place is not being maintained adequately. Peeling paint, missing posts on... More

There are places and people in our lives that are worth staying in touch with and renewing and revisiting often. The Saint Francisville Inn is a Bed and Breakfast that is worth the destination and can be a welcoming opportunity to get to know the people and the many guests that flow through its doors. While rare the Saint Francisville... More

This was the 2nd time I had brought a group of my friends to this B & B. We are a Harley Club and ride many places in the US. We came to St Francisville a few years ago and stayed here at the St. Francisville Inn. Everyone loved it then, the food, the rooms, the courtyard, the total ambience... More

My husband and I spent 5 nights at the St. Francisville Inn in St. Francisville, Louisiana in April of 2008. Purpose of our stay there was for bird watching field trips, and the inn was the headquarters for the annual " Audubon BirdFest". We were terribly fortunate to get a room due to fact that all 10 rooms usually are... More

What a nightmare. False advertising at its BEST! From the pictures on the internet we were expecting a cozy bed and breakfast! The outside was so unkempt. The courtyard was horrible! Winter leaves were everywhere, pollen was on everything, the porches were not clean, sickly cats roamed everywhere, the rooms smelled moldy had plug inn air freshners to mask the... More
