Great little spot for a girls night away! Everything was decorated so beautifully! and the food was delicious! Especially the the Sunday brunch! The room was very clean and comfortable. And the court yard was a perfect spot for an afternoon cocktail!
The rooms are beautifully done and the bar and restaurant have a fun atmosphere and great service. Would stay again anytime! Highly recommend for couples or girls weekend. We really enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to go back.
From the General Manager Charles to the Waiter Angelia to the Manager Brad to the the other waiter Kari to Daniel and Will at the Bar, plus Mrs. Shirley and of course one of Our Favorite visitors to the Inn, Philip (AKA) laundry Man. Best vacation place we’ve ever gone! Going back in February and next New Years! Also the food at the inn is the best!
We go multiple times a year and each time is better than the last! The accommodations, rooms, bar, and incredible food are on point every time, and, even more so, are the exquisite attention to every detail that the staff provide. Highly recommend the inn as a tourist or local looking for a romantic night out.
We loved our stay at the renovated and improved St. Francisville Inn—finally a place to stay in St. Francisville that elevates your entire visit to the area and matches the nearby stately homes. We had dinner for our family of 13 cousins/aunts/uncles and the food was amazing and service by the gracious Angelia was so completely over the top. Felt more like staying with family than a hotel.
It was a wonderful stay from soup to nuts - all of the the employess were wonderful, the place was beautiful and decorated for Christmas! And the restaurant was so great that we went back for Dinner the second night even though we were staying at another hotel. We will definitely be back - thanks, Nancy Noonan, Baton Rouge, LA
Attention to detail is KING in this comfortable and beautiful historic place to stay in Saint Francisville. From the customer service which was genuine, warm, and kind to the decor, and first-class appointments, this place outshines the rest. General manager, Charles, greeted us with champagne upon arrival and Miss Shirley genuinely expressed how grateful she was that we stayed and made sure that we were comfortable and that all of our needs were met. It is obvious that the owners and each employee really cares about creating a wonderful experience for each guest. Admittedly, prior to arrival I was a little concerned that our guest room was in the bungalow behind the main historic home (not in main home), but the room exceeded expectations, was well appointed with first class soaps lotions/ bottled water, very comfortable bed and pillows, immaculately clean and even had a fresh rose in a vase. The dinner service and cuisine was top-notch (and we travel to eat!). Our server, Kari, was an expert on the menu, was never pushy and had a joyful sense of humor with our table. My duck entree would rival any top Chef’s dish around the world. The fried local goat cheese with local honey was the epitome of farm to table. The cocktails were of craft quality and expertly concocted by friendly bartenders. While waiting for our friends who were traveling with us we really enjoyed just lounging in the front parlors as they were so comfortable and expertly decorated to give a classic yet unique vibe to the enchanting home. We noticed the manager, Charles, in between checking in guests, taking a brief minute to fluff pillows straighten pictures and keep a keen eye on every detail of the environment. And even though he worked late into the evening to close the restaurant, he arrived early in the morning to cook breakfast for guests when an employee called in sick. He still had a smile on his face the whole time. The complementary breakfast was a simple southern breakfast of scrambled eggs, biscuit, grits and bacon.. but everything was perfectly cooked. The last comment I’ll make is that even though we did not meet the two owners, one can assume that they are very well traveled, have fine taste, and understand what it is like to have a first-class experience as a guest in a hotel restaurant or bed-and-breakfast. It’s the attention to detail and genuine, hospitable demeanor of the staff that sets this place apart. We will be back soon! …
Fabulous! Southern Living at its finest! Beautiful place and you are treated with the utmost southern hospitality! The restaurant at the Inn has exceptional food! Love this place! We will certainly be back!
Wonderful experience! Staff is very personable and attentive. The grounds are beautiful, common areas are stylish and cozy, and the beds are very comfortable. Miss Shirley serves a delicious breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the St. Francisville Inn. The indoor and outdoor spaces were beautifully decorated for the holidays. The bar was relaxing and cozy and we loved dining at the inn's restaurant. Breakfast was delicious and the staff met every expectation. It was a lovely stay.
