What a really neat plantation! When I stumbled upon this plantation I wanted to do the ghost tour. I thought we had one more night to make it for the Friday evening tour. Well, that didn't work out so on the way home we still decided to stop and do the history tour. Do it! Though you don't get to... More

We felt so welcome here. We had a great tour in the plantation home and did a self-guided tour on the premises. We stayed in 2 of the garden rooms, they are very comfortable. Do visit this place and when you're there, have dinner in the Carriage House.

We had visited The Myrtles many times over the years taking different family members but this is the first time we had the privilege to stay and it was amazing! Our daughter-in-law wouldn't stay because of ghosts but we found our ourselves wishing we would see one. The grounds are peaceful and rocking on the porch listening to the croaking... More

The Myrtles Plantation is a beautiful plantation with a hauntingly fun story. The grounds are beautiful but the really grand surprise is the doting staff all of whom are present to make your stay all you wish it to be. The homemade breakfast is delicious and the local River Road brew is outstanding. Can't wait to return !!!

As a paranormal researcher and author, I was super excited about visiting America's Most Haunted House. Beautiful place, delicious food, and true Southern hospitality. Highly recommended for history lovers or paranormal researchers!

I stayed at the Myrtles four years ago and I'm returning again this month. I am a sensitive that stayed in the John Leake room. When people found out I was there they asked to follow me around. It turned into about 14 people. I gave a paranormal 101 so that people would understand a little more about "ghosts". It... More

Yes I've seen it on Ghost Hunters and the sweet docent that was on the show is still there and still sweet! Loved the gift shop and the grounds are so pretty to walk around. The docent was entertaining and the information was interesting. Wish we could have taken more pics but understand why. I would like to take the... More

Needed time to rest, relax and enjoy with my family and got that and more! Such a beautiful setting, great staff, and incredible hospitality! The Cabins were a treat to stay in, no doubt love to come back and stay in the house! From the breakfast to the tour totally impressed! Love this place!
