Impromptu last minute visit. Drove down to bring my daughter her car to her on a Thursday. So we booked a room at the Myrtles and had her drop us off after dinner. We figured we would Uber or Lyft a ride the next day to do a little sightseeing and get in another plantation tour

This plantation is not just for the paranormal curious but for the historians as well. The grounds are gorgeous and will transport visitors to the mid 1800's and before. The grounds are immaculate and the paranormal experience are intense to put it mildly!!!

Being a paranormal researcher & investigator, I made a special trip to go here, but only for a visit, not an over night stay. I took the tour. The guide was very nice with plenty of information about the history of the grounds. Having done this for a long time now, I am

I took my mom and sister to the plantation for my moms birthday and our visit was awesome. We rented the William Winters and John Leake rooms. Ms. Sarah, our night tour guide, said our rooms had alot of activity and she was right! She warned us of a cat in the W.W. room and

We stayed in the cypress cabin at the Myrtles Plantation. I was concerned at first cause I have never stayed at a B&B and never stayed at a place with no TV but I will have to say it was one of the best and most peaceful places I have ever stayed at I truly enjoyed sitting in

The night tour is the same as the day tour but they add ghost stories, They charge for the night tour. If you stay there you can not go into the house on your own. The house is haunted. Take lots of pictures all around the property. You are only allowed to take pictures in the hall on any of the tours. If you have a voice recorder by all means use it even as you walk around.

Thank you for showing an interest in the plantation. Unfortunately we do not allow any voice or video recording of the tour. You are more than welcome to take photos through out the house as long as the flash is off. We hope you come and see us soon.

Are there any restaurants in walking distance?
No, there isn’t any in walking distance. There was one next to the plantation,, but to burned down. They do plan to rebuild the restaurant and I hope soon. The food is amazing!

The Wife and I stayed in the General Bradford suite, on the first floor. We were part of a paranormal group that booked various rooms. We could not book the Inn. We had to book rooms and only investigate in those rooms. We had a room on the second floor and you could not get to the main stair case. They do not want you on those stairs. The first floor, except the Bradford suite,is off limits. You can see it on the tour but you can not visit it on your own or the front porch. The ghost tour is the same as the free tour but they add ghost stories. The Inn is haunted. There many spirits and you will most likely have the best luck in your room. Take lots of pictures. We have EVPS and our team have sensitives and mediums that show William Winter is not the nice guy in this story. Enjoy and good hunting.
