We love our guests who appreciate what we offer and actually notice all the attention to detail in our cottages and on our extensive grounds. We look forward to your return! Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review.
This property is a very good looking property to visit. In fact, the highlight of our visit was out in front of the property taking pictures with the beautiful plantation home in the background and the surrounding grounds. We did not have a bad experience,...More
Waking up to moss covered vines and sunlight through the trees, hot cup of coffee and a cool Southern breeze is just how it happens at Butler Greenwood. Anne Butler is one of the kindest people I've known. She greets her guests with true Southern...More

We are so appreciative of your kind review. We love it when our guests enjoy their stays here and understand what it is that we offer. Come back soon!
Reserved two nights in the Dovecote but couldn’t make it—left after the first night. Everything was worn out and the whole place needed a good dusting. Tablecloth had a dusty centerpiece to cover a large rip. Window unit air conditioners were running and cooling as...More

Sorry for your bad experience, and of course we refunded; we certainly don't want unhappy guests staying here. We've had a bunch of bad weather problems this fall, from hurricanes and tropical storms to tornadoes, but we did finally find where the leak was coming...More

In the fall the weather is delightful and the grounds are full of deer eating the live oak acorns, and squirrels and chipmunks storing up pecans. If you enjoy being in the country, you'll love St. Francisville. Thank you so much for your kind review...More

We welcome visitors to our grounds, even those who are not staying with us, if they ask permission first so that we know they are there. We allow photographs, and many pros bring brides or graduates or family groups to shoot on our grounds for a small fee. We don't charge non-professionals shooting for their own pleasure, not for sale. But we can't have unknown trespassers disturbing the peace and quiet of our paying guests, and our insurance surely doesn't cover them.
