Great inexpensive place to stay while we met friends at Louisiana Tech University. Homecoming weekend we had a great time at several events. Came home to a very friendly and all smiles staff who greeted us warmly and genuinely all the time. Rooms were clean and cozy and my wife and I were very comfortable and relaxed. The hotel is boutiquey with a splash of modern and vintage decor that was charming and fun to look at. This is a perfect stopover or weekend place to lay your head while exploring all this area has to offer.
Stayed two nights in room 105, Oct 6th & 7th. Carpet in room not vacuumed and bathroom toilet and shower not clean. Additionally, no facial tissues or toilet paper available. I had to get those items from the front desk. On Monday morning I complained about the dirty carpets and bathroom cleanliness to the front desk person. Upon my return Monday evening, nothing had been cleaned or vacuumed! And to think they charged $154.00 a night before taxes. Never again!!
This hotel is nice and quiet yet right off the interstate. Lots of grass to walk the dog. Hotel is basically brand new as i noticed half of it is still being finished. Nice little outdoor pool. Fast check in and very friendly staff. Rooms are huge and beds comfy and clean. Awesome hotel! We would definitely stop over here again. Shops and restaurants nearby.
Even though our trip was to attend a funeral of a long time great friend. The staff were really a great bunch of folks, Our rooms was ready when we got there and the room was very clean. It will be a place I will stay on my return trip to Ruston.
I made the mistake of travelling without hotel reservations at graduation time. If you know Ruston, you know that both La. Tech and Grambling State Universities are in that area. I found a room here online, but due to spotty network coverage on my phone, we got to the hotel before I could book the room. I went to the front desk and was able to get the last room available. Stephanie was one of the nicest people I have ever met and was so gracious and kind and she had a quiet confidence in everything she did and was an amazing ambassador for the hotel brand. We found our room very clean with modern decor and lighting. The bathroom was roomy and also very clean. The breakfast choices were plentiful and the coffee was very good. I stopped and talked to Caroline at the front desk at checkout and let her know that the motor for the electronic shade didn't work and that the door hinges needed a little WD-40 because it was rather squeaky. Caroline was just as gracious and kind as Stephanie, and listened to what I was telling her, wrote both things down, and promised that they would be fixed. I have no doubt that they were both fixed in short order. I didn't ask if Caroline was the manager, but she sure carried herself as if she was. It was such a great experience that we decided we would stay there again on our way back to Texas from Alabama when we returned a week later. The result was the same, and when we travel back to see family in Alabama, we know we have a great place to stay.…
