Cons: We had several friends who booked 6 RV sites, and we wanted to get a cabin near them. They wouldn't guarantee a cabin site even paid in full 6 months in advance. We ended up far away from them. I don't know why they can't rent a cabin number like the RV sites. Our neighbors had cigarette butts on their cabin floor, another one had a filthy toilet. Make sure you bring everything from toilet paper to dishwashing detergent (you're required to run dishwasher but they don't give you pods) to trash bags if you rent a cabin. Nothing like that is there. They wanted you to sweep, but there was no broom. The adult swim up bar at the lazy river wasn't opened at 10am like they said. 2 friends' RV sites kept losing power, and it wasn't fixed until the next day.

Pros: The cabins were really cute and had a good lay-out. Cooking supplies and Keurig are included. The lazy river, adult pool, and hot tub were all clean and nice. The putt-putt golf was fun and they let us stay past the time since it was crowded and took a while to get through. The staff were friendly and tried to help.

We spent last weekend in a lakefront cottage at Reunion Lake RV resort. The cottages are tiny houses with a porch, grill and firepit. All dishes, silverware and pots and pans were provided. We did not rent linens. Since it was just my husband and I, and we planned to only use the Master Bedroom, we just brought our own Full Size Sheets, pillows and comforter. We also brought Bath and Beach towels and kitchen towels. We purchased firewood and charcoal at the camp store and had everything we needed for a fabulous weekend, We loved the adult pool, cabanas, cottage and golf cart. This was our first trip to Reunion Lake and I am already looking into booking again!

Arrived in Nov 20 for work. Unfortunate for me, they had construction going on just about the entire stay. Issues with ants in Dec, think because of all the construction and ground being disturbed. 1 package from Amazon out of about 12 was given to another person. You have to login to internet every 24 hours but I was able to watch Netflix or ESPN+ with no issues. The campground is very well maintained but our Maltese was able to find stickers - we only walked the road and edge of grass in other lots. In April had an issue with my lot being over booked but the staff straightened it out. Great staff, enjoyed my stay. Attached photos from before construction and after. I was in Lot 11, which is now the heart of the Strip - if you ever went to Myrtle Beach before the rides were torn down, this would be a mini version of it with everyone on golf carts.

It's a water park for campers. I have a small pull behind that I like to get away in, and I was told about this place in Louisiana and thought I would try it. I had a great time, I did not even use all of the amenities there. The pools and the lazy river were enough for me. The park prices were reasonable I thought the bar prices were a little high but it was swim up bars. The waters are clean and temperature controlled and social distancing was practiced by most.

We enjoyed our stay and had fun while there. Rented a 2 bedroom cabin with water view. Very nice furnishings. Kitchen well stocked with quality cookware, dishes, utensils, and appliances. Had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Pillows and comforters are included, 2 smart TVs. Had a maintenance issue which was resolved but only after asking twice. These cabins are beautiful and well designed. Suggest adding toilet tissue holder, outside trash receptacle, grill cleaned when unit serviced, and clothes hooks in all rooms.

Having camped here in an rv several times I was disappointed in the lack of management oversight since Sun took over. Experienced daily food shortages at the grill, confusing golf cart rental availability, pool and bathroom cleanliness lacking, front office staff friendly and polite but could use more training in guest services.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and the amenities this property offers. Will consider returning in the future if management improves.

Our second trip to Reunion Lake with the first being two years ago. After a couple of dormant months for medical maintenance and RV repairs and maintenance, we came here as a shakedown run since Reunion is only an hour from home and their facilities are first rate so we expect no problems with the campground. Using the online map, we selected a pull through in the newer section that was proximate to the lake and the dog park. Check in was easy and we found our spot easily and were rigged up quickly. We immediately noticed that the view out of the windshield is an area under construction for additional pads across the lane from us. Also we noticed that the dog park no longer exists as the entire eastern shore of the lake is now under construction for additional sites. Rather than ask for another site, we decided to stay and things went well until 7am the next morning when the sounds of heavy equipment construction woke us. Lots of dust, noise and traffic but, once again, we decided to stay. The next day, we had the same wakeup sounds and decided to cut our trip short to return home, not mainly for the construction annoyance, but there was severe weather forecasted for the next day. When returning from lunch, I stopped at the office and suggested they direct campers away from our area if there are other spots available - only while this construction is going on. They understood and a nice lady came from the office and made things right for us. I'm sure we would have been relocated if we had asked but accepted the conditions, knowing that in the near future, this will be a very nice area. Additionally, the pads in our area are spacious, level and the entire park is a great place for families and friends to gather. I did not give 5 stars due to the noise and construction and lack of information about the current state of our pad area.

Spent the Holiday weekend for July 4th. We used to love to visit there a few times in the summer but the prices have gone up so much not many could even afford it now. It took well over 30 minutes to get a drink from the bar and they ran out of most food at the snack bar. But at least they had someone coming around checking armbands to make sure everyone paid.
Disappointed that the bands were a no-show. That should have been confirmed for such a big weekend, one would think.

We have stayed here numerous times starting with the first week it opened, it is really sad to see how far the resort has gone down hill since Sun Outdoors has taken over. Prices have increased to the almost unaffordable range, the employees used to have great attitudes and seemed to enjoy their jobs, now, not so much. The lazy river bar wasn't open Monday morning, no music on the lazy river. We had 2 visitors that came up and the website lists the price as $10.00 per day per visitor, I called to verify and was told $10.00, at check in we were charged $25.00 per visitor per day, when we pointed out the difference in price they said that corporate changed the prices. The grandchildren loved the water obstacle course and would spend all day on it, website shows the obstacle course, however, it's not there anymore, this leaves the 10-21 age group with no water options other than the lazy river, they're not going to the kid pool and they can't go in the adult pool. The grandchildren went home rather than stay. The addition of the cottages and additional RV spaces have the amenities crowded to the limit. I have never stayed in an Sun Outdoors facility and after watching the decline of Reunion Lake I doubt if I ever will. This is really disappointing as we live 20 minutes away and would use this as a staycation.

We stayed at this park for three nights while traveling home to California for our cross-country road trip. The resort has some pretty awesome amenities such as a lazy river, and adults only pool with a swim up bar, and a beautiful lake. For families with children, you really can’t beat this park. They have tons of stuff for the kiddos to do including huge inflatable slides and such on the lake. But for all the wonderful amenities, this place leaves a lot to be desired in the charm department. Don’t get me wrong, the staff were all incredibly friendly and all of our interactions with them were positive. My main issue is with the sites themselves. They look like a huge parking lot, hardly any trees, and many of the sites have deep tire ruts were people have drove through them during rainy times. My biggest issue with the park however was the construction that was going on. The park is currently working on an expansion, which is great, but we were placed right next to the construction and were not told about it at all upon check-in. The construction noise would start between 630 and 7 AM every morning, and we are talking bulldozers, backhoes, basically lots of loud machinery. I get it, construction is loud, and everybody has the right to expand, but you would think that the park would give their guests staying in that area just a little heads up upon check-in that there might be a lot of construction noise.

We had a great time at Reunion Lake - The only bad i can say is that the management needs to keep a employee at the lazy river, because so many kids without tubes and we actually had a child (5 yo) swimming under my wifes tube which he got stuck and someone walking by jumped in to save the child from drowning. We did report it by calling the office and no one seemed to be alarmed. Employee showed up about 30 minutes later and told a couple of kids that they need a float and didnt ask them to get out until they had a float.

No, there is an extra charge. They also charge for high speed WiFi; the first visit I failed to get that option and ended up with no WiFi at all. That might've been a staffing error. It remains a favorite park; ideal for people with kids. Plus, I've never seen one with a lounge reserved for adults! That's an idea that could catch on, particularly for parents. lol (The rates are listed on their website.)

No, you must pay a separate fee for the outdoor inflatables in the lake and use of the kayaks. The pool, lazy river and hot tub are all free.
