The Terrace Inn is definitely no-frills (no Wi-Fi, no shampoo, no breakfast - though they do offer morning coffee) and the rooms are small and Spartan. Having said that, the facility is clean, the plumbing and air conditioning all work, and the price is considerably less that what you're going to pay at the Paragon Casino. We ended up there...

We have stayed at the Terrace several times. Nothing fancy but very clean. Very nice owner/manager. It is a very short distance from the Paragon but worth the extra mile. Have recommended this place to several friends!

Stayed there to go to a concert at the Paragon and loved it! it was very clean, staff was very helpful and there is a free shuttle to and from the casino. Very quiet, well lit and two ladies travelling alone felt very safe staying there. Recommended to my cousin who now will only stay there when going to Marksville.

I've stayed at the Terrace Inn several times and if you're on a budget this is the place. The motel is off Hwy 1 north in Marksville and Hwy 1 can be noisy. The rooms aren't anything great - small bath room - small 19" tv. - rooms are two queens or king - kings next too Hwy 1 and...

Whenever, my wife and I are unable to reserve a room at the Paragon Casino, we stay at the Terrace Inn. We have stayed at this motel numerous times over the past 10 years, and have always had a pleasant stay. The rooms are clean and the motel grounds are safe and well lit. The owner and staff are always...

This motel was a very nice place on the outside. The initial appearance of the room was clean. The room seemed to be very humid as lots of places are but the humidity never seemed to improve. We were there for a funeral so we had three rooms. My in-laws woke up congested. I have horrible allergy and sinus problems...

Prices are reasonable and the property is quiet in the evenings. Room # 48 had extremely firm bed. For those looking for wifi & internet though must look elsewhere. Marksville is a small town and few places besides McD's have wifi.
