This property is severely understaffed and all amenities listed on website are not available. Golf course was closed for repairs. Spa was closed because didn’t have staff. Very misleading. I doubt I will stay again.

Just need to keep the grounds up more and have the restaurant open for dinner, work on having all the outside patio ceiling fans working , and electrial outlets working outside as well to plug items so don't have to plug them in room

Terrible staff Terrible overpriced food. Waitresses were not knowledgeable of the menu and the gumbo was chunky.. gross!!! internet never worked..low water pressure. Great pool though.the suana took awhile to heat up. Those were the best part of our stay

The exterior of the hotel needs repairs, however the interior is in good condition. The grounds are beautiful. It is a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The staff is attentive and courteous. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend.

I have been staying at Cypress Bend Resort for over 14 years. Recently Wyndham Hotels took over and raised the rates over %50. Rooms are now $179.95 per night. Used to be $109 to $119. per night a couple of months ago. No upgrades are apparent. Rooms still smell like musty mold, plumbing is still original equipment and leaks. The shower/tub handle came off evry time we tried to turn it on. When I asked the front desk about the rate increase, they stated it is now a Wyndham. BS, it is nothing like any Wyndham I have stayed at. Left the shower handle at the front desk when I checked out.

This hotel was horrible. There was no maid service. No bellhop or valet. The electricity went out and flashed off and on all night. It was under renovation and many services could not be used. No free breakfast. Call ahead before you come to this hotel.

The Cypress Bend Resort is a really nice place, but it still needs some serious upgrades. In talking with folks in the area, apparently the facility went through some rough times and maintenance was not kept current. Since being purchased by Wyndham, itis obvious that they are working to correct the issues, but there is still a lot of work to do. There are parts of the hotel area where you can see rotted timbers and general neglect. The golf course is unusable at the moment, but they are working on it and I'm sure it will be beautiful when completed. Overall our room was spacious, clean, and fresh. The hotel in general is very nice and it will be a top notch destination when renovations are complete. I would definitely stay there again when we are back in the area.

I only saw like 4 staff members the entire weekend. The resturant had no working phone, and my order was not cooked right. There are no signs posted saying breakfast cost anything and no staff present, but I was charged almost $30 for me and my wife for subpar food when I'm already paying over $150 a night. Pool was disgusting. Room was outdated with only 1 working plug. Pavillion had broken glass all over ground before we began setting up, but a staff member couldn't be bothered to clean it. Pillows were uncomfortable in room and the water was nasty. I felt dirtier after showering due to the water leavinv slimy residue. At over $150 a night and almost no perks, I expected way more

If you want to smell sewage and propane your whole stay then this is your place to stay. If you want to get locked in your room because your door handle fell off this is your place to stay. Cold sauna and cold indoor pool. Would not recommend this place at all.
