Amcra was our hostess during our stay. Very polite n we stayed for 6 days n cleaned rooms everyday. I would recommend this motel to anyone. The only thing that was a little off, was the pool closed at 9 n we were playing baseball world series n would've liked for the pool to have stayed open till at least 10. Other than that it was a nice place to stay.

Me and my boyfriend got a room on a saturday night and we had a an awesome stay! We were a little concerned about the noise because of the reviews we read online but it was not at all noisy! We stayed downstairs in room 110. We were offered a white noise machine if we needed it, just in case we were disturbed by noise, but we were not! Also the front desk and the manager were exceptionally nice and very concerned about our level of comfort during our stay. I definitely would recommend this hotel! Thanks, Macie Davis

I stayed at the RR Inn in Lake Charles LA, on 22 June 2019 about 3:30pm. After attending a Wedding we arrived back to the room about 11:30pm. There was no parking upon our return and had to park across the street in an open field. Got to the room and all we could hear was loud music and talking until 6am Sunday. to our surprise their was a Strip Club next to the hotel. We complained to the night clerk and the next morning again to the manager. The manager stated that she is aware about the club and there is nothing she could do. I continued to ask her about other issues including parking, Strip Club next door, noise, ice machine, boxes in the eating area, musty smell in the rooms and a refund for my stay, she looked at my wife and I with a blank stare and stated her English isn't very good and she doesn't understand and then walked off. We also witnessed her wiping down the counters and then use that same towel to wipe the waffle iron. UNSATISACTORY AND UNSANITARY!!! I ask an employee about the rest room and the ice machine out of order and a lock on the pool, the response we got was that the owners didn't want anyone using them. I then went to the ice machine and it was working properly.

When I called the hotel last night, she answered the phone and mumbled something. When I asked her VERY POLITELY who I was speaking with (since I did not understand her response to the call, I asked for her name), she told me not to call again and she would call the police and she hung up on me. Not sure I still understand the reason for her crude response. I did ask if it was the Red Roof Inn and she confirmed but slammed the phone down. Perhaps she needs to be properly schooled and educated of the fact, that she works for a hotel and I had not called her private line, to be spoken to so rudely. HORRIBLE.... HORRIBLE....HORRIBLE....experience. Had to use this hotel out of necessity, due to vehicle breakdown. She just added to an already STRESSFUL situation. She was VERY NASTY.

This hotel was very clean and the staff is friendly. There is a issue, that drove the overall rating down. This hotel is located next to a small nightclub. At 2 am, the bar closed and the people moved out into the parking lot. The parking lot is next to the back of the hotel. People in the parking lot were loud and were playing loud music until 5:30 am. At that time, the Sheriff's department showed up to break up a fight and run the people out of the parking lot. The desk staff are aware of the issue, and have a book of complaints they are keeping to help in fighting with the city and the nightclub. If you stay here, request a room that faces the front hotel parking lot, and that should help with the noise. Otherwise this is a good place to stay.
