Hotel looks like something you would see in the French countryside. Hotel has a great swimming pool and awesome hot tub. Rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. Hotel lobby provides free brochures on things to see and do in the area. Close to museums, bars, and restaurants. Don't miss your chance to experience this beauty.

Central location in downtown Lafayette is great and the rooms were huge. Downside though was a musty smell in much of the hotel and a very noisy airconditioner which groaned and scraped into life every four minutes (I know, I counted all night). Also, this hotel does not do breakfast and, remarkably, it took a while to walk around and...

This is a great hotel. It is centrally located to all the bars and restaurants downtown. You can walk to anywhere. This was our second stay, the rooms are nicely decorated, there is a romantic vibe throughout the hotel. We think it's pretty special. ❤️

The only hotel in the downtown area. Has potential to be more with a massive overhaul and renovation. The place was musty smelling as soon as you walked in the door. The lift was toxic, and an overwhelming stench permeated it. The rooms are large and shabby everything is worn and grimy. The one redeeming feature is that the staff...

I booked this hotel due to other reviews and was not disappointed! My room was not a same old same old hotel room ~ it had old world charm decor and a bathtub that would have fit both my husband and I if he were with me. Comfy bed too! I am not a breakfast person, so I didn't care...

GENERAL: The deco and furniture are of traditional styled. Facilities need to be updated. The small elevator had a mushy smell (the recent flood did not affect the hotel). No breakfast onsite. LOCATION and ACCESS: A 10-minute taxi from the LFT airport. This is the only hotel at the edge of downtown, about 10-minute walk to the center (along the...

We knew the hotel was old so we're concerned about condition of rooms. We were pleasantly surprised. Rooms were large and clean. When you step off elevator you are welcomed with a quaint sitting area with couches to relax and a fireplace. Community coffee is provided in the common area. I did miss not having a frig. Couldn't take home...

Booked the Juliet for a 1 night stay during a business trip to Lafayette. Most hotels were fulk due to the flooding and I could get a room here. Hotel has a musty smell as soon as you walk in. Check in was easy. The elevator had an air freshener covering up a terrible smell. I could not even breathe...

I had high hopes that this hotel would be suitable because it's location is great. However, it needs a lot of attention. The room was sort of bizarre, with the sink/vanity area outside the bathroom so that it's over carpet. The bathroom should have been much cleaner. It's too bad Lafayette doesn't have a legitimate boutique hotel near downtown. This...
