Written on announcement of 2nd Covid lockdown. Booked a 2 night stay through Groupon deals. Had a great, comfortable room, sorry no pictures. Used the pool, on arrival (bonus). Staff were polite, very accommodating, breakfast was one of the best I’ve had. *the second night, we had neighbour guest talking loudly in their room until 2am, maybe a large family get together, slamming doors as they went back to their own bedrooms! *we could not help to notice, numerous guests arriving for breakfast without face coverings, 5 groups we counted, wondering around the dinning room without being challenged-we decided to leave breakfast at this point.
Came here with my partner for 2 nights away. We had such a great stay from start to finish. The staff were friendly, very helpful, welcoming and made our experience all that more enjoyable. The Covid rules were bang on, we felt safe and free at the same time.. the perfect balance! The booking system of the pool made it more private and quiet which we loved! The breakfast and unlimited tea and coffee was delicious. If we were to be picky the neighbours woke us with slamming doors and being a bit loud first thing in the morning but wasn’t the hotels fault. The surrounding land was beautiful with plenty of walks especially with a short drive away. Highly recommend this hotel. We found our deal great value for money. Thank you so much 🙏
Stayed here as part of a group. Our arrival was very smooth and Adam, & Helen assisted all the party. Both of them very bubbly and nothing to much trouble for them whilst we were there. Exceptional in fact. Food was superb, although with regulations as they are, we had to order the night before. A few couldn't remember what they had ordered . Bedrooms were pleasant , plenty of hot water and rooms were warm, as its so cold in the Autumn mornings. The surrounding grounds were tidy and nice to walk around . Would defiantly stay again
As always an immaculate room and fantastic facilities. The staff have obviously been very well trained regarding the current strict regulations. Breakfast was really well organised with a pre booking system and executed perfectly. Due to current circumstances jacuzi and sauna unavailable but this was well advertised when booking. swimming pool available via pre booking. outstanding value for money. The hotel has done a really good job of maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout and have put a lot of thought into keeping guests and staff safe during these difficult times. fantastic gardens and beautiful scenery surrounds the Hall making it a fantastic venue for a getaway, thank you to all the staff for making our visit memorable.
Just returned home from a one night stay at Sedgebrook Hall. On arrival we were a little disappointed by the more modern buildings to the left as thought we would be staying in the country house, these looked more like a travelodge. However, the grounds were stunning and impeccably tidy. Also secure barrier at the entrance to the car park. At reception, the front of house staff were very welcoming. We collected the key to our room and walked along the corridor. Inside the room was quite dark and dated and really not what we were expecting. I went to reception and voiced my concerns and was offered to upgrade to a superior double room without any quibbles. After giving us another key we went along to the new room. Wow! It was lovely, very tastefully decorated and bright and clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower very powerful. All staff at the hotel were very helpful and we felt as if nothing was too much trouble. Covid guidelines were followed throughout the hotel and we felt very safe. The swimming pool was very clean and no more than three people in at a time due to allocated time slots. A short walk from the hotel is a really good waterside pub next to an old railway line. All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. We hope to return soon.…
