We went on a girls weekend, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We went fishing and hiking. The cabin in the pic is the one we stayed in and it is at the river. So peaceful. The owners are so sweet and helpful in anyway possible.
I recently stayed at the Chalet with my family from Sunday thru Tuesday. We were surrounded by peace, nature and created many beautiful family memories. The river was very delightful. We kayaked, swam and hiked. I have stayed at Little River Bluffs many times and have absolutely loved every moment. I highly recommend this establishment. Just picture yourself awakening on a Monday morning, reclined in a chair on a porch, overlooking the river and the only task of the day is to relax and have fun enjoying nature!
We stayed at the River Chalet- the forest views inside the house are soothing. I enjoyed trying out kayaking on the river, it's so peaceful. The house is so spacious, my friend and I could both enjoy our respective retreat time. We loved the jacuzzi tub and since we can't grill where we live in the city, we really appreciated that along with the total peace and quiet of walking in the country. Wifi is a little iffy but the cable TV was good. We visited the Wildlife Sanctuary nearby and that was really cool. The pond at Little Bluffs is really neat, they have done an amazing job designing the grounds. We needed another day to spend some time paddle boating. Be sure you turn on the lights when you arrive b/c there are a lot of them and once it gets dark they are harder to figure out. Time went by too fast, we did not want to leave.…
Looking for a cabin in the woods to stay at during a planned visit to the Abita Brewery I found Little River Bluffs. The property exceeded my expectations and the peace and tranquility of the grounds was an added bonus. Lots of walking paths and unusual outdoor artwork to discover. The cabin had everything we needed and more.
This is a great place to stay if you are looking to just get away and enjoy nature and have some down time to R&R. You are not bothered by anyone.... If you need someone you can call or text other than that you are pretty much alone.
