This cool place offers quite some space in their villas. The food is great and area itself is relaxed. The pool area could use some attention to match the cozy atmosphere of the front bit nevertheless a great place to stay a couple of nights. Especially if you‘re looking for some adventure in the national park. Every staff member was very nice and the manager was always open for a chat or to share some insights and recommendations.

In one word: amazing! We have spend 3 days, 2 nights here and the rooms/appartements are fantastic. Clean, spacious, large fridge pre filled with wine and other sorts of drinks, beds are large and made with bright white sheets, towels smell fresh and flowerly. The design of the room is super, love it. The restaurant serves good quality food, very tasteful - both western as Vietnamese food. Full restaurant every night, super populair and for a good reason. Staff is very friendly and helpful with advising and helping with day trips and excursions. If you are in this beautiful area of Vietnam, I definitely recommend you to stay here.

We stayed here as a base to go trekking in Phong Nha national park and it was a great choice. Superb value for money at USD 130 per night for a family of 4, best breakfast in Vietnam and AC that worked well as a respite to the oppressive heat and humidity, plus the ladies on reception spoke excellent English and were super helpful. Hard to fault

I stayed at Victory Road Villas for a total of 2 nights. I think I was the only guest staying there at the time along with my elderly parents. The staff is hard working, helpful and treats the guests well. Full points to them. I have some issues with the property though. Firstly the food prices at the property are very expensive . We arrived late at night and had to eat at the restaurant. The food quality is good but it’s not worth the price we paid. Secondly the rooms/ villas don’t have phones so you have to rush out to the reception if u have any need. The rooms/villas are not suitable for the elderly. The big steps in the staircase make it difficult to carry your luggage to the upper room. Also the AC in the upper wasn’t cooling and we substituted it with table fan. Lastly the currency rates that we got here was outlandish as compared to what we got from outside. Overall it’s a good place to stay that needs to improve their facilities.

We loved our time at Victory Rd villas. We rented the penthouse as we had a group of 5. The weather was actually cold and rainy for the couple of days we were there so it was nice to have somewhere to hang out and relax. The restaurant and bar were fun. The cocktails are fantastic.

Excellent place. The owners of Victory Road also own the Phong Nha Farmstay. We stayed at Victory Road but also visited the farmstay. Both are really nice. If you want to be in town, close the river and be within walking distance to town, stay at Victory Road. If you want to be in a more secluded location, stay at the farmstay (it's out in rice fields, about 10 minutes from town). We stayed in the penthouse at Victory Road, which has three bedrooms and a large common space. It was great for our group. Very large space, plus kitchen amenities. The hotel only has about 6 rooms overall, so it is small. We ate several meals at the hotel restaurant, which was very good. Best part overall was the staff. So friendly, so accommodating. They gave us several great recommendations for activities in the area. And the service is just excellent overall, partly because it's a large staff at a small hotel. Laundry, for example, is done within a couple hours, and costs hardly anything (by western standards). We talked to the owners, and we learned that many of the staff have been there for many years, stuck it out through covid and the flood of 2020 and so on. They are very loyal and dedicated. (Honestly sort of regret that we didn't leave an even bigger tip.) I see that in some of the reviews -- both of Victory Road and the Farmstay -- that people complain about them being too expensive. It is true that these are more expensive than most places in town -- but town is full of cheap/dumpy hostels and homestays. So yes, if you are trying to tour Vietnam on $20 a day or something, you should stay at a hostel, like the central backpackers' hostel. If you want to stay someplace a bit nicer, Victory Road and Farmstay are great options. And even though they are some of the most expensive places in Phong Nha, they are still a great value by world/western standards. Like a beer at the hotel restaurant is about $1.50. Just one last example. We were over at the Farmstay having a beer. At the end of the afternoon, we decided it was time to come home. Ben, one of the owners, loaded us up in his truck and drove us home. Was great to chat and hear about his life in Vietnam. That's the kind of place this is.

A delight piece of paradise in an unusual landscape. We had recently experienced camping in the local caves and farm stays in Sa Pa so the luxury at Victory Road Villas was welcomed. Very welcoming staff that are eager to please without being intrusive. The villas were beyond expectations for a rural setting. They were very clean and had a lovely ambience. The food was more of a western influence, tasty and good value. There are other choices in the immediate surrounds.

After adventuring in the caves we had lunch here. Terrific smoked duck and mushroom pasta and pizza! Go there! We have been traveling for 2 weeks and this is the best western food we have had throughout the country. It also looks like a very nice hotel.

Probably the best homestay/hotel in Phuong Nha. My partner and I stayed there for 3 nights including one night where there was a late check in. The property paid for a local driver and had their security guard sleep overnight to help check us in the morning. The Villa was clean and bountiful public amenities including sauna, spa and cosy dining room (indoor and outdoor). The service staff were also fantastic, they try their best to remember your name prior to check in for a personalised experience. For a small place, it was a refreshing experience!

Where do we start? We enquired about staying at Victory Rd and the general manager Lan sent us a personalised and comprehensive email detailing all our options - transfers, tours, local information. Lan spent time and was happy to answer lots of questions. THIS was before even booking!!! We are in Vietnam on a four week trip and we expected Sapa and Halong Bay to be our highlights of the trip… THEN we got to Phong Nha. Incredibly beautiful, peaceful and friendly place! Day one, we arrived at Victory Rd…wow!!! It was beautiful, overlooking a river, and decorated warmly with lantern lights which are lit at night. We were able to have breakfast and freshen up before our tour - booked through the hotel. We booked a village tour which sounded sweet and easy for our first day and nothing too exciting…again so wrong! It was very exciting. We had the most awesome tour guide Long who made our stay and quickly became a friend. We learnt about the local area, visited the duck stop (weird & wonderful!!), visited the pub with cold beer and a local homestay where we were greeted warmly by the family who offered us many shots of rice wine, a chance to play with their puppies, play on the giant swing and have a go at tree tapping! The day was full of surprises and we headed back to the Villa knowing it was the best day we have had on our trip! (3 months overall). We did two more tours during our stay which were also so much fun. Checking into our room….beautiful, modern, super clean and balcony with a view. The pool was equally as impressive and they even have a sauna. Then we had dinner at their restaurant - we had several meals because the food was incredible and had lots of options. The highlight was the staff, they couldn’t do enough for you, they wanted you to have the best time and made us feel so welcome. We originally booked to stay for two nights and decided to extend for another night…then another! Trust me, this is a unique experience and you should get booked in! 😊 We genuinely couldn’t critique a single thing! Make sure you spend some time down at the sister hotel Phong Nha Farm Homestay which has another brilliant menu and relaxed vibe. We cant wait to visit again, we hope soon!
